Edwardian Modern Regency sterling silver basket. Made by the Sweetser Co. in New York, ca 1910. Faceted octagonal bowl with straight and tapering sides on spool support mounted to raised and faceted octagonal foot; fixed curvilinear handle. Engraved ornament with fluted and paterae curvilinear borders forming frames of which four vacant and the others inset with garlands, scrollwork, and vases. Handle has pendant flowers and oval frames inset with paterae...

Turn-of-the-century Art Nouveau glass vase by historic maker Loetz with engraved silver overlay. Cylindrical with bellied top and bottom, and short inset neck. Overlay in form of open and horizontal pattern with stylized leaves and scrollwork. Glass is Titania pattern with shaded streaky green in vertical leaf arrangement. Silver marked “Sterling”. Excellent condition.

Japanese Meiji Art Nouveau silver basket, ca 1890. Faceted zigzag bowl with convex ends and concave sides, and double bamboo-style swing handle. Sides have applied iris flowers on stippled ground. Marked. Very good condition.

Eight(8) American Porcelain "K T & T, Knowledge, Taylor & Knowledge" from from "East Liverpool", "Ohio" Dessert Plates, Pre 1900, 8" diameter, with hand painted Bouquets of Flower design, marked "K. T. & T. China." and pattern date and numbers in green on the back. There are some glaze stains on the bottom in some of the plates but front decorated surface shows in good condition.

12 German Rosenthal Porcelain Dinner Plates, beautiful rich bright Powder Blue and encrusted raised Gold border, ca. 1908 - 1920, 10 3/4" diameter, almost 11" wide, with encrusted raised gold border rim. mark with encrusted gold "Rosenthal, Selb-Bavaria" within the "Crown" design inside shaped background area, numbered in gold "5400, 103", rim of the bottom also gilded. The condition is good.

A very rare Chinese Qing Dynasty Porcelain soap dish in three pieces. Lid, strainer, amd base. Each decorated in Rose color and white with gold leaf trim. The soap dish measures about 6” x 3”

Small brass and mother of pearl scent bottle for a chatelaine. Late 19th century and probably made in France. Length in total "3 1/3 / 8.5 cm, Condition: fine.

8 Tiffany, N. Y. mark English Mintons Dinner Plates, 1920, 10 1/4" diameter, encrusted brilliant gold Vine decoration with bright Lemon color border rim. Marking on the bottom "Mintons" under the crown, "Tiffany & Co. New York", and also numbers show 8588.." but not very clear. The condition is very good.

Rectangular well and scrolling, asymmetrical turned-down rim; bracket-shaped ends with leaf-mounted scroll handles, and corner fruiting grapevine supports. Well has acid-etched leafing scrollwork and flower baskets. Sides have embossed and stippled lobing and corner volute scrolls, and applied cherubs brandishing arrows and flower baskets and frolicking together within the bounds of decency...

Edwardian Classical sterling silver water pitcher. Made by Frank W. Smith in Gardner, Mass., ca 1910. Full-bodied globular bowl on domed foot; reeded and capped high-looping handle and wide u-spout. Irregular and scrolling rims applied with leafing scrolls. Fully marked including maker’s stamp and no. 1794. Very good condition.

Large Japanese Meiji silver chalice, ca 1890. Oval bowl with irregular rim on tall cylindrical shaft flowing into raised and scalloped foot. Spout hammered ground. Double walled. Applied iris and chrysanthemum flowers and blossoming branches. Wire stem with flower head and bud wrapped around shaft. Mount Fuji-form mono plate (vacant). No cliché left behind. A wonderful ceremonial vessel for the advanced export market. Japanese marks and “Kuhn & Komor / Sterling”...

Chrysanthemum gilt sterling silver box. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Traditional lobed and ovoid bowl with short and inset neck and splayed volute scroll supports. Cover hinged and domed with bud finial and plain and scrolled overhanging rim. Foot rim and supports applied with alternating flower head and leaf pattern. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 11133, and director’s letter T (1892-1902). Very good condition with nice toning.

An extremely rare and striking c1754 Chelsea cup and saucer. The bell bowl with loop handle features a bird on a leafed branch, with several insects around the girth of the cup. The saucer is similarly decorated.

The overall condition is excellent, with clear and bright colors. Both pieces have the red anchor and stilt marks. The saucer is 5" in diameter, with the cup being 2 1/8" in height. 

An elegant and beautiful English ratafia DSOT (double series opaque twist) glass. Ratafia glasses are quite uncommon, and this is fine and exceptionally tall example. The elongated narrow conical bowl is above a double series opaque twist stem with a pair of three-ply spiral bands outside of a pair of corkscrew tapes.

The glass is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks, or restoration...

A wonderful and amusing hooked rug depicting an aardvark. I have collected many rugs featuring animals but have never seen another with an aardvark. Well, at least I think this is someone's interpretation of an aardvark, or possibly a beaver, armadillo or pangolin. Whatever the craftsman was aiming for, one has to smile at this, and at the pinkish salmon background color surrounded by a scalloped teal border. Cotton yarn and with original burlap foundation.
