I have the most wonderful little porcelain garden of place card holders I have ever seen. All the flowers are spring-summer blooms of different varieties. They were made by Carl Thieme, Potschappel Dresden c. 1900. They measure approximately 2 1/4 inches long and 2 inches high, although they may vary slightly from flower to flower. They are all hand made in the fashion of Meissen. All are perfect. They were lovingly stored in a partitioned box with cotton for decades...

This porcelain bowl was produced in Germany by Donath Dresden in the 1890s. It measures 10 1/2 inches long, 7 inches high and 6 inches wide. There are reticulated borders around the edge of the bowl and around the edge of the foot. It is elaborately decorated with brilliantly colored sprays of hand painted flowers. The inside of the bowl is decorated as well. The reticulated borders are outlined with fancy gilding. The rims are trimmed with gold...

This 3 piece porcelain tea cup, saucer and dessert plate was produced in Germany by the Helena Wolfsohn Dresden studio in the 1890s. The plate is 7 1/2 inches in diameter, the saucer is 4 7/8 inches in diameter and the cup is 1 3/4 inches high with a diameter of 3 1/8 inches. The fluted porcelain blanks were made in Bohemia by Ohme. The porcelain is highly translucent, delicate and scalloped on the edges. Bright panels of yellow alternate with panels of tiny colorful flowers...

Pair of ironstone plates with chinoiserie decoration of flowering plants with a flower border and thin blue printed scallop border. Back marked with an elaborate blue printed mark of a crown over what looks like a log with a garland of flowers and a ribbon with the words, "TONQUIN CHINA." This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Wehsener Dresden in the late 19th century. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/2 inches and the cup is 2 1/8 inches high. The porcelain has an egg shell, translucent quality. The set is hand decorated with large sprays of colorful flowers. Little sprigs of flowers dot the surface of the porcelain. Fancy gilding trims the edges of each piece. Condition: Excellent

An excellent example of an uncommon form, a Lowestoft hand painted butter boat, showing two houses on an island and with a lattice border on the leaf-shaped piece, and with an angular stalk handle. Retains the label of Rod Jellicoe, a well-known dealer in English porcelain.

The condition is excellent, with bright colors and no chips, cracks, paint loss, or restoration. 2 1/4" long by 2" wide.

Circa 1790-1820, English underglaze blue pearlware bowl with exaggerated Chinese style figures. Hand painted and in excellent antique condition, it measures 5 1/8” diameter x 2.75” high.

From our European Porcelain Collection, a fine French Niderviller neoclassical-style porcelain saucer, heavily potted, late 18th century circa 1774-1784. This saucer is executed en grisaille in very fine detail of a sleeping cupid, rendered against a very dark cobalt blue ground that almost appears black. The border is richly gilded, and the reverse contains markings that stand for Count Philibert de Custine, who owned the Niderviller factory during this time period...
