A rare and elegant first period Dr. Wall Worcester cream boat. This thinly potted superb example is of vertical faceted form with a double C-scroll handle with a raised thumb rest, and is painted in blue in the Prunus Root pattern. The gnarled root depicted has flowering branches trailing around the rim and small insects, the bottom with workman mark "IH".

Pristine condition with no issues at all. Clear, non-blurred painting...

Beautiful and very early Italian Majolica Faience, Apothecary Jar, marked Bassano and dated to the year 1715!

Early dated European Apothecary jars are very rarely found and this is a great specimen in blue and white glaze and Gothic writing. The mixture held in the jar was 'Sempe De Portulaca'. Albarello shape and quite large.

12 German Rosenthal Porcelain Dinner Plates, beautiful rich bright Powder Blue and encrusted raised Gold border, ca. 1908 - 1920, 10 3/4" diameter, almost 11" wide, with encrusted raised gold border rim. mark with encrusted gold "Rosenthal, Selb-Bavaria" within the "Crown" design inside shaped background area, numbered in gold "5400, 103", rim of the bottom also gilded. The condition is good.

Unusual tile of a seated man in a flat cap holding a fishing pole while his wife in a bonnet cap seated beside him looks at him. A charming scene. The tile has tapered sides.5 ¼ inches (13.5 cm) square. ½ inches (1.5 cm thick).

Condition; major old restoration to the upper left corner, similar restoration along the right edge in the column and other very minor chips.

I think this is a fairly rare format with the columns and arch. The figures have a certain humor and art.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Spode around 1800. The saucer is 5 5/8 inches in diameter and it is 1 1/2 inches deep. The cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The cup has the London shape. The ground color is a soft pink. There are reserves inside the cup and around the saucer containing colorfully hand painted birds. They are reminiscent of bird decorations done by the Derby factory. They are encased in gilded cartouches...

This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufacturer or KPM in 1911. The impressed date letter indicates this year. The plate measures 9 inches in diameter. It has a 1 1/2 inch border of the most delicate reticulated work. It has the appearance of the finest lace. The pattern of lattice work and flowers is outlined in gold. The center of the plate is hand painted with a scene of lovers in the woods. They are dressed in elegant early 19th century costumes...

Late 18th or early 19th century tall porcelain pear shaped coffee pot with a flat lid topped with a pointed knop. The form is typical of Doccia of this period though the hexagonal spout is unusual. A very rare set of (probably) English 9-7/8" plates in a variant of the original Blue Willow pattern. We haven't been able to accurately identify this pattern with its distinctive border butterflies in our books, however they are definitely Georgian. The porcelain is the expected light gray and the decoration is slightly blurred and each plate has the expected frit and minor variations from the manufacture of these items...

A superbly beautiful, and unique-shaped French art pottery ewer made by Delphin Massier in Villauris, around 1895. The ewer is hand-painted with Fall scenery - I wonder if Daum Nancy cameo artists were inspired with artistry similar to this in cameo-decorating their scenic glass vases...

A late Ming dynasty heavily potted porcelain dish made for export, probably to Sumatra. The decoration is in underglaze blue starting with a thin line around the outer edge, a double ring about a quarter of the way toward the center with grasses growing inward toward a large expressive carp. The style of painting with brush strokes not enclosed by lines is typical of the late Ming and the size and heaviness are typical of the export porcelain to South East Asia.
