The upper shoulders or these 7-5/8" ewers or pitchers are in a glossy glaze, and the lower body has a naturalistic matte glaze over a stippled style textured surface topped with a decorative linked band of semicircles. This porcelain parasol handle was produced in Germany by a Dresden manufacturer in the late 19th century. It is unmarked but the workmanship is definitely from Dresden. It is 5 1/2 inches long and the knob is 1 1/2 inches in diameter. The ground color is cobalt blue. The knob has a scene of lovers in a garden inside a cartouche of ornate raised gilding. The rest of the knob is covered with gilded swirls and flourishes. The stem has gilded cartouches containing tiny cherubs...

A hard paste porcelain cup and saucer with gilding of lyres with arrows supporting swags. Two panels on the saucer and one on the cup displaying in differently toned gilding elaborate outdoor scenes with people, buildings, trees and other details. The partially gilt handle scrolls to the top edge. Two-tone leaves ring the lower part of the cup. There are no marks on either the cup or saucer. Inscribed in the body of the saucer inside the fool is what appears to be “n6” in a bold hand...

A beautiful Flight, Barr and Barr Worcester plate from the desirable "Harlequin" service. The decoration features an exotic bird painted by Henry Stinton in a central reserve which is surrounded by a white field edged with gilded rococo scrollwork extending into the cavetto. The wide rim of the plate is in a pale blue decorated with multicolored butterflies and insects.

The reverse of the plate has the elaborate red mark which was used specifically during the 1813 to 1819 period...

A fantastic set of hand painted fish plates, each plate having its own distinctive scene, made in Limoges, France. The plates date circa 1900. Each plate is gold enameled at the rim. A Very Fine/Large Celadon Inlaid Cosmetic Box and Cover-13th C.: Korea, Koryo period, 13th Century, It is a quite large circular box with domed cover decorated in inlaid with a double cranes within a double white slip inlaid surrounded by four cranes flying in raining on the cover, the edges in a white slip inlaid with a stylized pattern. It is in fine condition with no damage at all. It measures 9,5cm x 4.5cm or 3 3/4” x 1 3/4”.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Royal Crown Derby in 1912. There are date ciphers that indicate this date. The set is made of high quality bone china. It is decorated in a Japanese Imari pattern. The decoration is hand painted and ornately gilded. The decoration on the cup and saucer is bold and vivid. There is some slight wear in the well of the saucer. This cup and saucer is in otherwise excellent condition.

A marvelous pair of Dresden or Old Paris porcelain candlesticks with carefully painted cherubs holding to each nozzle while upholding while perched on stumps. The winged characters are draped with modesty scarves which swirl around the sticks. The quatrefoil bases are embellished with gold and encrusted with pink flowers.
