A beautiful English wine glass with a bell bowl. The stem contains a multiple-spiral air twist (MSAT) extending into the solid base of the bowl. What makes this a truly special glass is the applied medial vermicular collar. The foot is conical with a rough, snapped pontil.

The condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks, blooming, or restoration. The marks and discolorations shown in the pictures are due to dust, reflected light, or photographic artifacts...

An English sterling silver spreading or butter knife, marks to handle and to knife for Sheffield 1892 and silver smith's mark W.G, I.L within shield mark. Softly modelled mock-Georgian design, with harmoniously curved profile and a finely engraved crest of a lion rampant. Length "8¼/ 20,5 cm. Condition: small fusion mark on upper ridge, otherwise fine.

Lovely sterling silver berry spoon dating from the reign of Queen Victoria. The gilt bowl is finely and elegantly decorated with a repousse pattern featuring grapes, pomegranates and apples. Both sides of the handle are decorated with bright-cut floral engraving. Clearly hallmarked for Birmingham, 1870 with the sovereign's head and the maker's mark "FE" in conjoined circles.

A large tyg with hand painted apples and leaves with green dental banding and green dashes on the three handles. The tyg, or loving cup, is a popular form for Wemyss. Marked with impressed “WEMYSS WARE” in an arch over “R.H.&S.” 7 ½ inches tall, 87/8 inch diameter at base. Handles are about 2 ¼ inches out from the body.

Condition. No chips. There are two hairline cracks extending from the rim part of the way down the body. One handle broken off and restuck...

This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by Meissen in the 1880s. It has the first quality, underglaze crossed swords mark with pommels. The plate is made of the finest quality hard paste porcelain ever produced in the Western Hemisphere. It measures 9 ½ inches in diameter. The reticulated border is cut out by hand. This 2-1/4" high serving piece has the maker's mark for either John Deacon & Son or John Dixon & Son, and it weighs 67 grams. This item is in mostly excellent condition with no breaks, corrosion, losses, repairs but it acquired some tiny edge dents on the right and left side edges from a recent disappearance (may need to expand the pictures to see it)...

Lovely sterling silver berry or casserole spoon in Towle's 1890 "Albany" pattern. Very Victorian in its styling, the decoration makes good use of delicate flowers, swirling foliage, and a beautifully double-scalloped and matte gilt bowl. The back is marked with Towle's hallmark.

A pair of dry drug jars decorated with blue leaves top and bottom and the drug name in the middle, all over a light grayish blue glaze. This form is typical of the 18th century Italian drug jars. The hand throwing on a wheel is evident on the glazed interior of both jars. 7 ¼ inches tall and 4 ¾ inches diameter, (18.5 cm tall, 12 cm diameter).

Condition; Both have chips on the base and roughness from throwing on the mouth. Both have later marking on the base with a magic marker.
