Very attractive Victorian lacquered papier-mache soap box decorated with a japonaise design. The sides show laborers pulling a boat filled with partiers along a canal. The lid shows a kneeling maiden tending her flower garden in a classic Japanese garden. The lid is also decorated with the soap maker's logo. Japanese styled items were very popular in France from around 1870 until the end of the century.

A fine example of a triple knopped double series opaque twist (DSOT) antique wine glass. The bell bowl is over a stem with a pair of 3-ply spiral bands outside of a central gauze, and with a flattened shoulder knop, a medial knop, and a basal knop. Conical foot with rough, snapped pontil.

An artful and highly interesting bronze plaque, cast in high relief and would probably have adorned a casket or case, perhaps even furniture as an inlay. A delightful Bennington-type yellowware cow creamer with mottled brown glaze. The cow stands on a concave oval base. This example is more nicely potted than some, with good detailing in the ribcage area and a quirky facial expression. These creamers were made in both America and England, but the style of modelling suggests this is an American example. The tail has been reglued nicely, and a professional restorer could make the repair completely invisible.

This porcelain serving platter was produced in Germany by the Carl Thieme Dresden studio in the 1890s. It measures 11 1/4” long and 10” wide. Very rare antique 19th century (c1880) luster glaze majolica vase by Ulisse Cantagalli of Firenze, Italy. An impressive large two-handled lustre vase in Islamic Hispano - Moresque, Moorish Alhambra style decorated in cobalt blue with raised pseudo-Arabic calligraphy in Thuluth script and various animals, foliage and birds painted in white on the copper luster ground.

Offered is this beautiful, hand-painted art glass vase. The vase is decorated with berries and leaves. The vase is 9 1/2 inches tall and 5 inches wide at its widest. It is in excellent condition. Like many Mt Washington objects, the vase is unsigned, except for the number, '20' in its polished pontil (see last picture). It is attributed to Mt Washington based on the 'berries-and-leaves' decor, which is a well-known Mt Washington decor (refer to pages 229, 242, 243, 246, etc, of Betty Sisk's book...

C1880 Victorian buckle bracelet beautifully engraved with clover leaves and a geometric design. The bracelet is stamped "Sterling". Buckle bracelets became very popular when Queen Victoria wore the Order of the Garter on her arm. The bracelet measures 1 3/16" wide. The interior dimensions are 1 7/8" wide by 2 1/8" long.
