Cover flat and hinged, and scroll-bracket handle with scallop shell thumb rest. Engraved ornament: On sides, leafing scrollwork, flowers, and eagles, and on cover top round frame (vacant) surrounded by leafing scrollwork. With cobalt glass liner. Fully marked. A pair of Milchglas / milk glass cups and saucers with flower decoration in gaudy enamels, made around 1760. Relief moulded wth ribbed and diamond-patterned sides and applied foot rims. The model is to be found in the Corning glass museum collections and elsewhere as originating from the glassworks of Flühli in Swiss Luzern. Diameter of saucers "5 ¼ / 13 cm, of cups "3 ¼/ 8 cm. Condition: one cup with old and yellowed glue repair (cf. pics).

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany at the Carl Thieme Dresden Studio in the late 19th century. The saucer has a diameter of 5 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The set is made of fine, translucent porcelain. The cup features 3 lion’s paw feet. The set is beautifully hand painted with vibrant colors. The couples dressed in 18th century costumes enjoy the garden landscapes in various activities. There are lovely sprays of realistic flowers between the scenes...

This Queen Heart lamp is 9 3/8" tall without the chimney. It was made by Dalzell, Gilmore, and Leighton in 1898. The collar is loose.

The patterns seems to be somewhat faded.

To one side a gentle couple harvesting - a mock rural scenery - and to the other floral decoration, all in 18th century Rococo style. An elegant and beautiful Derby porcelain figure of "Flora," from the "Antique Seasons" set. Flora (or Spring)stands on a tall plinth, is wearing a diadem of flowers, has gathered her robe in her left hand, and is offering a wreath with her right. The Antique Seasons set was made in 1771, and each has the model number "5" incised in the base. It is described in Peter Bradshaw's book "Derby Porcelain Figures 1750-1848" as being exceedingly rare...

Victorian Umbrella Handle, late 1800's. DETAILS: The handle is made of rolled gold with ornate curved floral scroll patterns, center of handle is mother of pearl.
CONDITION: Good, there are no cracks or chips on mother of pearl; gold has some very small dents, nice age patina.

This porcelain lidded vase or ginger jar was produced in England by Coalport in the 1890s. It measures 3 ½ inches high and has a diameter of 3 inches. The shape is Asian inspired. It has a bright olive green enamel ground color. An intricate pattern of raised gold in two colors encircles the piece. There are swags, drapes and other design elements making it look like a piece of jewelry. Bright orange and white enamel jewels accent the gilded design...

Patinated bronze and silver overlay four piece desk set consisting of a large blotter with four bronze corners (one is decorated with silver - the others are plain) measuring 21" x 16", a pen tray measuring 8 3/4" x 2 1/4", a blotter measuring 5 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 1 1/4" tall and an inkwell with its original insert measuring 4" diameter x 2 1/2" tall. All in great original condition.

A striking and nicely painted oil on canvas pair of American portraits. The sitters (by family repute) are Hendrick Henry Lasher (1788 - 1843) and Hannah Sharp (1793 - 1851) of New York.

Painted in a straightforward, stark style, the artist has deftly used dark tones for the clothing the background, focusing the light and the viewer's attention on the faces.

Condition is very good, with no holes or large amounts of restoration...

Exotic mixed metal tea caddy. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1910. Sterling silver ginger-jar with squat and tapering sides, short neck, and snug-fitting cover. Copper ornament with irregular scrollwork. Fully marked including pattern no. 11975, director’s letter m, and phrase “Copper and Silver”. Very good condition.
