An elegant sterling silver olive serving spoon in an unnamed floral pattern by Baker Manchester Silver Co. This maker was especially known for their elegant silver serving pieces instead of full flatware services. The Art Nouveau style is evidenced by the trio of fully-opened roses that decorated the tip and center of the curving handle. A Victorian Oak Wood Tantalus, with three Bottles a Brass Frame and with a Working Lock and Key. Stamped "Mappin and Webb Oxford Street London". Circa 1880-1890. Dimension; 16.5" x 6" x 13" high to handle; total weight approximately 17.5 pounds; bottles approximately 4.4 pounds each. Slight chips on the base of stoppers and on edge of one bottle; Not noticeable. Also two of the brass corners at the base are split (see picture).

A rare sterling silver pickle fork in Towle’s 1887 “Pomona” pattern. The long handle is decorated with a cornucopia overflowing with peaches, pears and grapes amidst foliage. The handle twists before leading into the matte gild three-tined fork. This piece would have been used for pickled vegetables, but could now be used for a variety of foods. The long size is much more difficult to find than the shorter version...

A delightful Bennington-type yellowware cow creamer with mottled brown glaze. The cow stands on a concave oval base. This example is more nicely potted than some, with good detailing in the ribcage area and a quirky facial expression. These creamers were made in both America and England, but the style of modelling suggests this is an American example. The tail has been reglued nicely, and a professional restorer could make the repair completely invisible.

An English Cut Crystal Inkwell with a Silver Top; Hallmarked in Birmingham in 1904. Makers mark indistinct. Dimensions; 3" square base and 3" high. Very good condition.

A perfect example of a waisted bucket bowl wine glass, with superb proportions; the bowl sits atop a stem with a mercury twist (a wide, refractive air twist).

This porcelain chocolate pot was produced in the US by Willets Belleek in the 1880s. This is a factory decorated piece. The pot measures 9 3/4” high and is 5 1/2” from handle to spout. The handle is shaped like a dragon that wraps around the pot. The body of the pot has a creamy ivory hue. It is hand painted with two colored gold. Some of it is shiny and some of it is matte finish. A very well designed and executed eight point Star of Bethlehem pieced cotton quilt with excellent quilting. The pieces around the edges are white with very small pale blue printed sprigs. The pieces for the star are all solid colors. The backing is printed green cotton in a small pattern. Quilted with feather wreaths in the corners and partial ones between the points of the stars. All of the sewing is done by hand. 72 inches square...

KPM Meissen porcelain is the highest grade of Meissen. The cup and saucer are decorated in purple with gold trimming and laurel wreaths. The saucer is 7 inches in diameter and the cup is 4 inches in diameter and 3 inches in height.

Large round and shallow basket set in round mount with shell-and-scroll apron surmounting fluted and knopped baluster on raised and bellied base. A fine and early Dr. Wall Worcester porcelain cup of slightly tapering octagonal form with each of the 8 sides decorated with a flowering plant or insects. The graceful handle is of double scroll form with a pointed thumbrest.

Excellent condition with bright sharp colors, and no chips, cracks, or staining. The height is 2" and the diameter at the top is 2 1/4".

Labels are present from the well known Shaw collection and the 1998 Albert Amor exhibit of the Vincent Townrow collection.

A large and very fine English Victorian opalescent pink and vaseline glass epergne with 3 scalloped flutes with applied rigaree rising from a scallop edged round tray. In excellent antique condition it measures 20.5 inches high, 10" diameter of tray. Circa 1885. More photos available.

These 6 porcelain tea cups and saucers were produced in Germany by Meissen around 1890. The saucers are 5 ¼” in diameter and ¾” deep. The cups are 1 ¾” high and 3 ¼” In diameter. Turn-of-the-century Art Nouveau glass vase by historic maker Loetz with engraved silver overlay. Cylindrical with bellied top and bottom, and short inset neck. Overlay in form of open and horizontal pattern with stylized leaves and scrollwork. Glass is Titania pattern with shaded streaky green in vertical leaf arrangement. Silver marked “Sterling”.
