A delightful Bennington-type yellowware cow creamer with mottled brown glaze. The cow stands on a concave oval base. This example is more nicely potted than some, with good detailing in the ribcage area and a quirky facial expression. These creamers were made in both America and England, but the style of modelling suggests this is an American example. The tail has been reglued nicely, and a professional restorer could make the repair completely invisible.

English Blue Transferware deep Plate, 19th century, 8 7/8" diameter, 1 1/4" high, fluted edge with Castle scenery and figures attending cows, impressed mark "2" on the bottom, possibly "Spode" pottery, the edges are worn and stained little, the condition is good.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Spode Copeland in the late 19th century. The saucer has a diameter of 4 5/8 inches and the cup is 2 1/8 inches high. The set is made of fine, white bone china. The decoration on this set is so elegant. It has red and green enamel jewels along with raised gold beading and decorations. The rims and handle are trimmed with bright, shiny gold. It has the appearance of jewelry. Condition: Excellent

A finely hand painted pair of miniature German porcelain decorative items by Carl Thieme. This pair has the blue Saxonian Porcelain Factory Dresden mark used from 1901; this group includes the 2-1/2" handled urn (red D mark) and the matching 7 x 2-3/8" tray (blue mark with painted DES.829 DEPOSE). Each features lush goldwork with colourful floral and green wreath decoration, and each is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs...

This porcelain coffee cup and saucer was produced in England by Worcester between 1755 and 1783. It is a First Period product under the ownership of Dr. Wall. It has the open crescent mark. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/4 inches and it is 1 1/8 inches deep. The cup is 2 1/2 inches high with a diameter of 2 1/2 inches at the opening. The porcelain body of both pieces is fluted with scalloped edges. There are cobalt blue borders...

Georgian diamond ring in a snowflake motif set in silver with an 18K band will sparkle in sunlight and candlelight. Notice the gorgeous back, a work of art in and of itself. The ring back is cut down so that the metal is cut to fit the stones and gives a more refined appearance to the ring. The ring is size 6 1/2 and can be sized to fit.

Patented 1878 and marked with a C placing it between 1902-1907, this Tiffany & Co. server is made in the intricate "Olympian" pattern. The scene on the handle is "Venus Born of the Sea." It has a large shell shaped, gilded bowl. This one is not monogrammed but is in very good condition. It measures approximately 9.5" long and 3.25" across the widest portion of the bowl. It weighs 120.9 grams.

Victorian Scottish Mauchlineware Pencil Box Rare mauchline ware pencil box featuring transfers of two different scenes. The lid is decorated with a scene entitled “London Bridge & Cannon St. Station” and the body scene is entitled “Lambeth Palace”. Both transfers are very crisp and detailed. English scenes are much less common than images of Scotland. This piece is also larger than most pieces of mauchlineware.

A lovely Bohemian zwischengoldglass liqueur beaker, the bottom featuring an inset gilt and enameled design of bouquet of violets. The panel cutting along the beaker’s sides causes the design to be visually repeated when looking into the interior. These glasses have become increasingly difficult to find.

A very attractive late 19th century first standard (950/1000 pure silver) wine taster by Parisian silversmith Louis Coignet. The tastevin is decorated in the Bourgogne style with an applied handle in snake form. The serpent is beautifully decorated with engraved scales and eyes. The sides are enhanced with repousse and chased decoration of grape clusters and vine leaves. This example is classic form, but has a very steep convex bottom and no “godrons” or “perles” along the sides...

This is a very large, very seldom seen, antique, Buddhist Temple Mokugyo. A Mokugyo is a wooden percussion instruments that is used by monks at Buddhist Temples (in Japan, China and Korea) during Buddhist ceremonies that involve the recitation of sutras or mantras to maintain rhythm during chanting. It is made from mostly KUSU (Camphor) wood. For large temple Mokugyos such as this one, the wood must be at least 100-years old...

Offered is this beautiful English cameo glass vase, made most likely by Thomas Webb & Sons around 1900 - look at the quality and details of the cameo work. The vase is 6 inches (15 cm) tall and 4 1/2 inches (11,5 cm) wide. Except for a minor rim-flake (see last picture) and a fabrication flaw where the cutting wheel slipped momentarily (see picture - probably Webb didn't sign the piece because of that fabrication anomaly), the vase is in very good condition. This porcelain plate was produced in the U.S.A. by Lenox between 1894 and 1906. The plate has a diameter of 9 inches. It was commissioned for the retailer Bailey, Banks & Biddle of Philadelphia. The plate is artist signed W.H. Mosley who was a prominent painter at Lenox. The plate has a soft cream colored ground.
