Gorgeous sterling silver pickle fork in a lovely Art Nouveau pattern featuring wild roses trailing assymetrically down the handle. The design continues onto the back of the fork, as well. This porcelain dresser tray was produced in France by Jean Pouyat Limoges around 1914. It has an underglaze mark and an overglaze mark indicating that the porcelain and decoration are from that factory. The tray measures 12 1/2 inches long and 10 1/2 inches wide. A floral decorated milk jug and floral decorated cover with a rose and leaves finial. The potting of the jug is fairly heavy at the bottom, the decoration of a fairly elaborate boquet and a simpler one on the other side is complimented by the yellow painted rims and decoration on the handle. Vincennes and Sevres had a monopoly on using gilt decoration so that other French factories had to use paint where they might have used gilding. Height approx. 5 ¾ inches...

Handsome hexagonal faceted glass paperweight featuring a detailed frost intaglio of a lion pressed into the base. The New England Glass Company made several different types of intaglio paperweights, and this piece is possibly an example of the company's work.

A large drawn trumpet bowl leads to a double series opaque twist (dsot) stem comprised of a pair of heavy spiral threads outside of a central gauze. The bowl is engraved with a rising sun, a well-known masonic symbol. In all, this item has a wonderful and strong presence to it. Thick firing foot with a rough snapped pontil.

The glass is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, other flaws, or restoration. The height is 4 5/8", with a bowl diameter of 3" and a foot diameter of 2 3/4".

An extremely fine and tall Newcastle light baluster (NLB) type wine glass. The generous, slightly flaring, pointed round funnel bowl is beautifully Dutch engraved with the armorial coat of arms of Princess Anne, daughter of George II, and wife of Prince William IV, the "Prince of Orange." The stem features a dumbbell knop over an inverted baluster knop, atop a high domed foot.

This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by Meissen before 1920. The diameter of the plate is 10 inches. The plate has a scalloped rim and a deep well. It has the most excellent flower painting. The flowers are bright and realistic. There is a cobalt blue border and fancy gold trim accenting it. The foot ring on the back of the plate has two very minor chips. This plate is first quality and has no other defects.

Two pairs of plates with underglaze blue transfer decoration of a woman holding a tray of cakes with a child pulling at her dress and an oriental jardinière to one side surrounded with an elaborate floral swagged border. The smaller are more like shallow bowls than like plates. These two are porcelain and both marked with Hilditch and Sons mark for the period 1822-1830. The larger plates have overglaze lustre highlights and are not porcelain...

A very unique 14 sided paperweight with an interior sculpture having a latticino base supporting stranded cage housing a green glass bubble. Its quality workmanship is accented by the beveled edges on the top and bottom. In excellent condition and unsigned. Please note that the glass is slightly yellow, due in large measure tot he yellow glass rods. Our images suggest a clearer brighter glass, but that is not the case when viewed in normal light. Wonderful pair of Hubley cast iron paperweights in the form of African-American children. The little girl wears a yellow jumper over a white blouse and the little boy wears yellow pants and a white shirt. This is the only pair of black memorabilia iron paperweights we’ve seen.

German 800 silver cow creamer, ca 1910. Stocky body, flexed ears, flicked-back tail handle, and hinged and stippled back flap with engraved wreath and applied fly finial. A gentle face with red-glass eyes and gaping-mouth spout. A capacious dispenser on four firmly planted hoofs. German marks and American importer’s mark for Buchholz & Zelt in New York. A large Saxon (German) hunting glass with a thistle bowl, beautifully engraved with a castle, a mounted horseman, 4 dogs, and two geese and with a facet cut lower section. The stem is facet cut with a large facet cut stepped angular knop. Folded foot.
