Stunning early 19th Century Berlin Iron earrings with a floral motif which is highlighted with polished steel. Berlin Iron was sought after by Napoleon who invaded German and captured the factory, confiscated the molds and took them back to France in 1806. Today this unique and fascinating jewelry is as prized as it was back then. The earrings measure 2 1/2" long and 3/4" at their widest.

This porcelain toast rack was produced in Germany by the Richard Klemm Dresden studio in the late 19th century. It measures 5 inches long, 4 inches high and 2 3/4 inches wide. The porcelain is molded with rococo style decorations. The toast rack is hand painted with Meissen style flower decorations. The flowers are vibrantly colored. There are gilded accents and trim. Pair of Edwardian Classical sterling silver candlesticks. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1914. Each: Ovoid socket with detachable bobeche on knopped baluster shaft; domed foot. A very well molded pitcher with floral decoration on each side, molded foot, lip and handle. Across the front of the pitcher and on either side of the neck are hand painted flowers, very much in the Adam’s Rose” style. This form of molded pitcher closely resembles those in porcelain of J. and R. Riley of Burslem. This silver plate Meriden Britania Co. Number 202 napkin ring is a long tailed bird resting upon the stem of a large leaf,its tips creating the feet. The banded napkin ring holder has in its center a leaf design with the space for engraving. This space is engraved "Ella" very lightly and very small. The Japanning shows some wear and there is a bump to the side of the ring. It is hallmarked "Meriden" in a circle. Lots of detailing on this item.

A fine and early Worcester sweetmeat, the open shell curled over at one side, the undulating rim strongly shaded in green with a yellow inner border to the green. Painted in the Meissen style with a central flower spray surrounded by scattered smaller sprays.

Superb bright condition with no issues at all. The length is 4 3/4", the width 5 1/4", and the height 1 3/4".

NOTE: A similar dish, in a more common color, sparser painting, and with wear sold at the Bonham's sale in March, 2010.

A very nice folding corner shelf of lacquered papier-mache with metallic decoration of Chinese court scenes. One wall shows ladies riding in a rickshaw while the other shows ladies strolling in a court garden with their guardian. The scalloped edge of the shelf is decorated with a gilt edge.

Origin: England, ca. 1840. Condition: excellent, no cracks, bright coloring. Size: 5” wide; 7-3/8” tall.

Gorgeous museum-quality Japonesque sterling silver trophy bowl. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1884. Large and round with allover ornament in relief. Horned serpents swim slack-jawed through the water. Talons and heads “puncture” the surface to form side handles. Astride one sits an artist, brush in hand recording the thrashing undulations and roiling waves. At mouth rim are applied strewn shells...

Offered is this beautiful, tall, hand-painted French glass vase - it was probably made by Joseph Brocard, a contemporary of Emile Galle, based on the enameling. Polished pontil. It is 11 inches (28 cm) in height. The vase, with three applied handle is in very good condition (there is the age-appropriate fading to the enameling)...

These 6 porcelain egg cups were produced in England by Minton in the mid 19th century. We have seen this pattern attributed to Minton in our research. The cups measure 2 inches high and the openings are 2 inches in diameter. The porcelain is unglazed white parian. The interiors of the cups are glazed. They are molded in high relief with lily pads, blossoms, and buds in fine detail. Condition: Excellent

Consists of six knives (7.5"), forks (7"), spoons (5.75"), two serving spoons (10", 8.5") and a serving fork (7.75"); total weight 31.1 Troy ounces. Box is 14.5" x 10". Excellent condition.

George V sterling silver salver. Made by Lionel Alfred Crichton in London in 1925. Round with beaded serpentine rim and four hoof supports. Fully marked including phrase “Made in England”. Very good condition.

Gilt and polychrome bronze frame with exotic fronds, ca. 1910. Rectangular with colored and etched fronds, flowers, bamboo, and grape bunches. Exciting Japanese-inspired design. With glass, silk lining, brass back and hinged support for vertical display. Support is marked ‘MV’ with hammer. Excellent condition.

Lenox Porcelain Bread Plate, Ca. 1910, 5 1/4" diameter, 1/2" high, with wide etched brilliant gold and cobalt blue rim, green mark "Lenox" "The Bailey Banks & Biddle Co. Philadelphia" on the bottom. The condition is good.

A group of pink lusterware made by Allerton, Staffordshire: slop bowl, two cups and three saucer bowls, all decorated with the Dahlia flowers typical of Charles Allerton & Sons, c 1860-70. Pattern numbers (?) 22, 707 and 701. Diameter of slop bowl "5½ / 14 cm, height of cups "2 ½ / 6.5 cm, diameter of saucers c. "5½ / 14 cm. Condition: wear to part of the decoration, nick to the foot rim of the slop bowl, one saucer with a hairline (cf. pics).

Sterling Silver Sheffield Salver with raised Chippendale border accented with scrolls complementing the three scroll feet. The hallmarks show the salver to be by William Hutton & Sons, Sheffield, England. This piece is 8 1/2" diameter and 1" high. Circa 1909. It is in excellent condition.

Beautiful handpainted Hutschenreuther porcelain plaque of Mary and Jesus. It is not artist signed, but has the Hutschenreuther crown and shield mark on the back and is of the highest quality. The plaque itself measures 6 5/8" x 5 1/8" and in its original frame it measures 12 1/4" x 9 1/2". It is in great original condition.

Sterling silver tastevin made in Paris in the early 19th century, the handle decorated with a little bunch of grapes and leaves. One half with convex and concave indentations and the other godrooned, a classic and functional design showing the colour of the wine.
