An outstanding, mid 19th century, European-made, porcelain inkwell featuring two gentleman hunters physically fighting over the ownership of a just-snared hare, their hunting dogs loyally assisting in the jostling match for ownership beside them!

Measuring 7.25 inches wide by 4.75 inches deep by 6.25 inches high, this outstanding, circa 1860 - 1870's, polychrome inkwell features removable cover which reveals a base containing two inkwells without pots...

Carved two part handle with three carved racing horses, each with amber glass eyes. Cane with brass fittings and mahogany shaft. Handle: 2 1/8" H x 4 3/4" L x 1 1/2" W. Overall length is 36 3/4 inches, mid 19th century. Condition Report: Overall good condition with expected wear and separation on the underside of the handle.
The carved abalone handle is 3 3/4 inches high and 1 1/8 inches wide. Abalone and Silver Dress Cane-Late 19th Century, signed “F.C. & Co. Sterling” handle, small hardwood shaft and a brass ferrule. Overall length of the cane is 35 inches. Condition Report: Good condition
Handle is 1 1/2 inches high and 4 1/2 inches to the side, well carved handle with a beaded overlay of silver, engraved silver collar “Colonel E. F. Gosset”, thick ebony shaft and a horn ferrule. Overall length of the cane is 35 1/2 inches. Condition Report: Good condition
The carved handle is 2 1/4 inches high and 1 1/2 inches to the side.. There is a ornate metal collar and natural branch shaft with varved bone dots inlaid on twigspurs and a metal ferrule. Overall length of the cane is 34 inches. Condition Report: Fair condition
Fine British antique dress cane with sterling silver ball handle with fabulous design and silver collar with the English full hallmarks and bronze ferrule, 19th century era. Size: Silver handle ball has a diameter of 1 1/2 inches, and overall length is 36 3/4 inches long. Condition Report: Fair condition.

Offered is a fabulous, early 1900s, veterinary doctor sign, advertising the practice of a Dr A. A. Bennet. This 18 inch x 11 inch brass sign is a wonderful advertisement piece. The black painted lettering has been cut into the brass sign to give a two dimensional effect.

Veterinary signs of any type are quite scarce! Wonderful patina!

This box is silver plate from the United States or possibly England of the Victorian era. The marking on this sewing box is partially obliterated, but we could make out the mark C&W on the bottom. We were unable to identify the marking. It measures 4 inches high, 3 inches deep and 1 7/8 inches wide. The box has 3 drawers. One is marked pins, one for needles and one for buttons. There is a little kitten figure on the top of the box. The silver plate is etched with a decorative pattern on top...

The ultimate in men’s accessories is this 14Kt white gold pen knife from the early twentieth century. It was originally used on watch chains as a functional fob. The knife has two folding blades one of which is a knife blade and the other is a nail file/ pick. On the front there is a diamond shaped 14Kt yellow gold plaque, hand-engraved with the initials H.D. The length of the knife is 2 3/8” including the fold down bail, and the width is 7/16”.
