An extraordinary pair of early 19th century Sheffield plate covered entree servers, with beautiful shell designs on all corners.
They each measure 12 1/2" x 9 1/4" x 6 1/2" high and are unsigned.
The final is removable, so that the lid can also be used as a server, and the interior of the lid has additional rope design edging.

By the Philadelphia PA silversmith, Christian Wiltberger (1766-1851), this lovely cream jug was likely made around 1800, as Wiltberger was active in Philadelphia from the 1790s until the early years of the 19th century.
It measures 5 1/8" high to top of handle, and is 4 1/4" wide.
Signed on the bottom with Wiltbergers stamp, and has a W etched into the front (probably the owners initial).

It measures 4 1/2" x 4 5/8" x 3", and is good heavy weight, 12 troy ounces.
The interior has some remnants of gilding remaining, and the locking mechanism is visible (no key).
It is stamped on the bottom with the marks of George Roth, with crowns over an A, a P, and a Fleur de lis.
