This iconic Spratling brooch was designed c. 1940's by American & Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). The pin stands 2 1/2" tall X 2" wide and weighs 41 grams. Each amethyst is bezel set and surrounded by a deep channel giving the eyes a 3 D effect. Both silver and stones are in beautiful condition. Pin back and safety are in fine working order. An exceptional, pierced yellow gold slip-on bangle with floral design. For a smaller wrist, the inner diameter is 2-3/8" and it weighs 8 grams. It appears to be hollow and shows light wear on the inside band with a few very faint scratches and a very, very tiny indentation. Marked 14kt along with the Sloan hallmark.

This is a Mexican silver vintage Margot de Taxco necklace that bares an early design #5204. The piece is almost 16in. long and sits on the neck .75in. tall. The earrings weigh 15 grams and is 7/8th in. wide and is 1 1/8in. tall. The necklace is impeccably made and weighs 99 grams. It is in perfect condition and is properly hallmarked as shown. Measures about 16 1/2" around, the curvature of the long links makes it difficult to get an exact measurement. Better for a slender neck. The drops are 1 1/2" long.

Spratling Brooch Pendant which bears the first phase marks as shown is an iconic design from the Mexican Silver Renaissance. All the amethyst have the teat shape which is the original cut for the stones. There is no chips or cracks to the stones. It is a 3 inch circumference and has a weight of 71 grams. This is a substancial piece. It can be worn to clasp a shawl and hold considerable weight. Add your own chain and thread it thru the barrels and have a necklace!

This important and rare necklace by the famous Fred Davis is one of his most sought after styles and is featured in several books on fine Mexican Silver Jewelry. Chevron shaped links of solid silver are connected so it lays beautifully around your neck. It measures 16 1/2" long by 1" wide and weighs 97.1 grams. Hallmarked "FD, Silver Mexico".
