It has been a long time since I have offered a mosaic Mexican silver necklace. It is difficult to find one as perfect as this one. An Art Deco 14k watch chain in 14k white and yellow gold circa 1920s. This 13-3/4" length watchchain consists of 5/8" x 1/16" wide rectangular alternating white and yellow gold sections with oval loops between. It has a spring-ring catch on one end and a swivel on the other. It is stamped 14K on the watch swivel, spring-ring and chain ends. It weighs 9.2 grams, and it is in excellent vintage condition with no breaks, losses, damage or repairs...

We believe this lovely (unmarked but tested) 10kt gold jewel is from a time when cannetille work was the vogue because gold was scarce: very fine gold wires twisted into thin strands and then formed into rosettes and other shapes. The amethyst is a delicate shade of purple, and weighs approximately 2.5 carats – it’s very deep. (Amethysts are said to bring calm, and help banish headaches.) The whole lavalier, including the bale, measures 1-1/2 x 9/16”...

An elegant Edwardian heart-shaped locket worked in 18K yellow gold. The front cover is enhanced with a small rose cut diamond and three small no-heat rubies set in a stylized floral pattern with engraved stems. The decoration is reminiscent of Imperial Russian jewels of the era, but the locket bears French gold hallmarks and is marked “Déposé” indicating that the design had a copyright of sorts. The edges of both the front a back covers are finished with banded reeding décor...

Matching silver necklace and bracelet in large repetitive waves of acid-etched links, c.1950's. This modernist design has a hint of deco and is quite heavy, weighing a total of 4 1/2 troy oz. The bracelet is quite generous in size measuring 1 1/2" wide by 7 1/2" long with 19 curled links folding into each other. The necklace measures 7/8" wide by 15" long and has 44 links. These links move and jingle playfully against each other but the piece is masterful...
