Reminiscent of machine-age design, these mid-century silver cuff links are composed of applied semi-circular bars spanning the width of a flat, rectangular bar. The anchor bars are flat, plain panels with hinges. They are marked 830, with the maker’s mark of Eiler & MarlØe of Copenhagen (1920-1967). They measure 1 inch long by a little over ¼ inch wide at the areas where the curved bars are attached. Total weight: 18 grams

These elongated silver cuff links are set with cobalt blue spinels, enhanced with an applied silver wire. Each bridge bar is marked for .835 silver; the anchor bars are decorated with engine-turned engraving. All connections and both hinges are intact and show no stress; there is a tiny nick on the underside edge of one cuff link. They date from the 1950s and measure about 1 ½ inches long by ½ inch at the widest part.

A nice pair of sterling silver cufflinks with an subtle Art Deco engraved floral motif. The solid connectors are joined to hinged backs. Each connector is stamped with Polish sterling marks and an unidentified maker's mark.

Origin: Poland, ca. 1986 (the pattern is likely from the 1920s). Condition: excellent; sharp detail; unpolished. Dimensions: 13/16" x 1/2". Weight: 10.6 gr.

These cuff links are composed of forged-wire bands that have been hand-formed into pinwheel shapes and anchor bars with curled ends. The anchor bars are marked sterling and are secured to the buttons with a soldered figure-eight link; the cuff links exhibit tool marks from working the silver. They are probably from the 1950s. The pinwheels measure about 11/16 inch across; the anchor bars measure 1 inch long. Weight: 9.7 grams total

Pair Natural Baltic Amber Cabochon clip Earrings, set in marked "925" Silver, 3/4" x 1/2" wide, 3/8" deep for Amber Cabochon. They are in good condition.

The dove motif is based on Georg Jensen's bracelet. It has been copied by several American makers in the 1930's. This is one of those. This bracelet is 7 1/4" long by 3/4" wide.

Round two-sided cuff links ringed with inlaid cobalt blue enamel in a scalloped decoration and a central engraved grid pattern. They are well made with a nice heft; connecting rings and bridge bars are secure. Some of the grid pattern has worn off, as shown in the photos. Each button measures 5/8 inch in diameter. There appear to be worn marks on the connecting rings; the bridge bars are marked 800 to indicate silver content. Weight: 8.9 grams total

Engraved with an elongated diamond pattern on rectangular panels, with ovular anchor links, these 1960s cuff links have a modern, angular look. The bridge bars bear the maker’s mark of Bernhard Hertz, Copenhagen (1936- ). All connections are in good working order; the cuff links show hardly any wear. A streamlined, classic design of an oval amber mounted in a bezel setting. The cuff links appear hardly worn; the amber exhibits no scratches or other signs of wear. The anchor buttons are undecorated silver; the hinge is in good working order and the bridge bars are secure. They are marked 835 for silver content, with a maker’s mark of a stylized fish, probably for the German firm of Fischlandschmuck. The amber buttons measure ¾ inch by 5/16 inch.

This sturdy, nicely made sterling silver bracelet is composed of incised openwork sections securely linked by small rods. Of flexible and hand-wrought construction with bezel mounted teal ceramic oval pieces at the terminals. The band shows a warm patina with some roughness under the edge near one end. The outer band shows either a partially obscured mark for sterling or a maker’s mark. It has an 8-inch inner circumference, and is 3/16 inch wide.

A double row of petals composed of gilded sterling silver and enameled in deep red adds a bit of drama to this late-1960s flower pin. A cross-hatch grid pattern of guilloche work under the enamel enhances the design. There is a secure rollover clasp on the back, with a maker’s mark of a crown and marks for sterling and Norway. A green and brown marbled agate square is decorated with a sterling modified pinwheel design. The handmade bale is sturdy. The entire plaque is mounted on a sterling backing marked 925. There is also a maker’s mark that looks like MAD. The pendant is suspended in the photos from a 26-inch-long Mexican sterling chain ($35 in addition to the pendant, J1341). The pendant measures 1 5/8 inches square.
