Made by Pegi Werkstätte, this bar pin feature three impressionistic enameled flowers in pink, blue and red, with green stems, on a dark blue background. It has a secure C-clasp on the back, and is made of a gilded base metal. The back is marked with the maker’s mark and the city, Duisberg, barely legible on the worn surface. The front enamel is in lovely condition, the colors bright, no cracking. The pin measures 2 3/8 inches long by about 7/8 inch wide.

This pin measures 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" x 1/2". It is a beautiful depiction of an angelfish with a colorful, carved scarab, agate body, inside a gold filled setting, marked 1/20 12K GF wRe. This piece, circa 1950, was made by the W. E. Richards Company founded in 1902 and known for its use of 10K-14K gold overlay on sterling silver, along with using high quality stones.

Also an embarrassment, since two gemologists can't determine what the stone or the metal might be. However, this is a very beautiful Egyptian Revival piece which ought to be vintage (or even antique) The enigmatic yellow stone does not appear to be glass and the metal tests as 10 k gold, but by this time uncertainty rules! The pin is 2 5/8" overall, and the decorative head is 7/8", so it's large enough to make a statement on your lapel. We think it's circa 1900, but are not sure...

Here is a nicely crafted mixed metal pin designed with stylized silver oak leaves, berries and vines applied to a curved copper plaque. This lovely ring is adjustable in size. It has a great, Taxco Mexico design. It features a sparkly, goldstone: bezel-set. It is marked and signed TAXCO MEXICO 925 in a circle with the silversmith's initials in the middle: APF. The other mark is the "spread eagle" assay mark with the number 3 in the middle.
