A magnificent Art Deco 18K white gold ring set with a 1.49-ct Burmese ruby surrounded by round diamonds. The ruby has a pure, vivid red color and eye-clean clarity. There are no indications of heat or other treatment. The back of the mounting is enhanced with a pierced gallery and geometric engraving. The diamonds are G-H color, SI clarity. Tested and guaranteed 18K.

Very special Art Nouveau gold filled double-sided "Mercury" motif pendant, circa 1900. In Roman mythology, Mercury was the messenger and protector. This beautifully executed pendant is circle shaped and features a youthful Mercury wearing a winged helmet surrounded by eight marcasite stars, hinged at the base, reverse side with script monogram EMJ. Size: 1 1/2" dia. Condition is very good. Front is perfect. Wear to the reverse plate.

Chunky heavy early modernist ring with a large faceted genuine amethyst stone. With two tiny marks on the outside of the shank. One is 800 or 900 (I can't be sure which), for silver content, and the other is a tiny hallmark or maker's mark in a cartouche. Circa 1940. A very rare pair of 18K yellow gold cufflinks designed by Soren Georg Jensen for the firm founded by his father, Georg Jensen. Designed in 1962, during his first year as the firm's artistic director, these cufflinks are a clear example of the stripped-down, modernist sculptural direction the younger Jensen wanted to pursue. A very fine Art Deco 14K yellow gold necklace of filigree links centering a collet-set carved jadeite disc suspending another filigree link and a large oval plaque of jadeite carved in a floral pattern. The workmanship of the filigree is superior, with finely detailed millegraining on nearly all the surfaces. The use of yellow gold in filigree jewelry of the period is quite unusual, but is very attractive as a foil to the rich green of the gemstones...

Handmade vintage pendant necklace in sterling with a very large smoky cabochon stone. The stone is possibly a smoky quartz; I have not had it checked by a gemologist. Circa 1960.
