Most unusual bookchain necklace made of 10K rose gold links alternating with yellow gold-filled links, 14K yellow gold spring ring clasp. Can be worn alone with the clasp in the back, or with a pendant or locket attached (spring ring clasp in front). Total length is 18 inches,links are approximately .25 inches wide. I have never seen a bookchain necklace like this one. Done in a victorian style, probably dates to the 1940s.

What can be said about this set except Spectacular! If worn against black, the glittering rhinestones seem to float, unattached. If worn against a colored fabric , the japanned (blackened) metal sets off the rhinestones in a stunning and dramatic fashion. A fascinating pair of 14K yellow gold cufflinks set with emeralds. This is only the second pair we've seen with this particular type of mechanism. The "wheat-style" chain is inserted through the cuff and then wrapped around the emerald-set head. It works much like the more traditional stirrup-style, but with more flexibility. Fantastic and rare sterling silver and turquoise cuff bracelet designed and signed in the 1950's by Hopi native american artist Preston Monongye(1927-87). 1 1/2 inches wide. A classic pair of Edwardian cufflinks by Krementz worked primarily in 14K yellow gold. Each face is formed from a carved mother-of-pearl disc set in an engraved platinum border and centering a cabochon blue sapphire. The sapphires, though small, have good blue color that nicely accents the irisdescent surfaces of the surrounding mother-of-pearl. The connectors are marked “14K” and have Krementz’ hallmark. The platinum portions are tested and guaranteed platinum.
