A very fine, beautiful Art Nouveau gold brooch featuring a row of three kittens sitting on a diamond-studded platform. The kittens are finely cast with excellent attention to detail. The cat at the far right appears to be licking his neighbor while the one of the opposite end seems completely aloof from the proceedings. The bar supporting the cats is topped with silver in the traditional style of French Art Nouveau jewelry and is set with antique cushion-cut diamonds of very nice quality...

Amazing vintage bracelet made of dozens of different nuts and seeds wired to a heavy goldtone chain, with matching detailed goldtone leaves. The foldover clasp is marked NAPIER. Circa 1960. One large seed has ALOHA carved into it. A fabulous statement piece. 3 inches wide and 2 inches thick. 7 1/2 inches wearable length. Fabulous early Art Deco Egyptian revival necklace with five tiers of colorless round beads festooned between two sterling silver mounted incredible green glass paste scarabs, with sterling filigree slide clasp. 1930s. The clasp is marked STERLING. Probably French. The colorless beads are probably rock crystal. They don't look like glass...

A nice 14K yellow gold locket, the front cover decorated with an ornate scene of two hunting hounds sniffing through tall grass for their prey. A picket fence can be seen in the background and then a sky lightly engraved with clouds and a sun or moon represented by a star-set old mine cut diamond. The back of the locket has a nice 3-letter monogram (“MAC”) original to the period. The interior retains its original frame inserts. Tested and guaranteed 14K gold.

Fabulous signed Gucci goldtone metal and blue guilloche enameled link long necklace which can also be worn as a belt. Marked GUCCI and MADE IN ITALY. Each link is also marked S in a lozenge shape. 1970s. An iconic vintage Gucci piece, these were also made in shorter (18 to 20 inch) but otherwise identical versions to be worn as necklaces only. The enameled links are slightly convex and curved. They alternate with heavy twisted connecting rings. With a toggle close. Total length is 39 inches...

Handmade 14k and ebony modernist earrings by Betty Cooke, c.1980's. The design features an ebony disc(3/4" diameter by 1/4"thick)around which gold wire is formed. Outstanding vintage necklace in heavy gunmetal gray chain links with quatrefoil shaped elements which are made of translucent tortoise Bakelite. This piece can also be worn as a belt. Marked YSL on an attached metal tag. 1970s. The quatrefoil form is of course a classic medieval and Moorish motif and is here translated into a stunning modern look. Very wearable and versatile -- there is a hook at each end, allowing it to be arranged in many lengths and configurations...

This sterling silver pendant 1 1/2" x 1". The agate stone has shades orange, yellow, and white, and is bezel-set, completely encased in silver. It hangs 9 1/2" from its sterling chain. The back is marked STERLING, with an artist / maker's mark of PW. It has good heft and is in excellent condition. I believe it is of Native American / Navajo origin.

Very large minimalist 14k pin with a pearl and ebony by the famous Baltimore modernist, Betty Cooke. With strong architectural design, it is signed "Cooke 14k" and is in excellent condition. A terrific pair of earrings in the form of round shakudo plaques set in 14K yellow gold borders. Each of the matching Meiji-period discs features a Japanese immortal or scholar along with a fearsome dragon. Details of the dragon’s scales and fins and the man’s staff are picked out in gold and copper highlights. The gold borders are simply decorated with a ropetwist motif. The earwires are later additions. Tested and guaranteed 14K gold.

Vintage Bakelite bypass bangle in marbled Mississippi mud with carved stylized snake heads. It has a slightly oval shape. Tests positive for Bakelite and guaranteed vintage and original. Circa 1935. 1 inch wide at crossover. Inside diameters are 2 1/2 and 2 5/8 inches. Just under 1/2 inch thick. This piece is slightly larger than average diameter. Excellent condition. A lovely double-sided 18K yellow gold and beveled crystal porte-photo (“photo carrier”), the gold rim simply decorated with a bound reed design in the Louis XVI style. It is cleverly constructed with a hidden screw mechanism that allows the gold frame to expand so the crystal covers can be removed for adding or changing the contents. Double-sided porte-photos were often used to display a photo on one side and a tiny lock of hair or a memento such as a pressed flower on the other...

A very rare sterling silver bracelet by Salvador Teran. Depicts a stylized woman praying, carved out of what looks like bone. Also has one curved bone piece on either side of the center section. Marked Salvador, Sterling, Mexico, Design # 510 and Eagle # 36. Measures 7" around and 1 3/8" at the widest. Has a tongue and box closure which snaps tightly and a safety chain. In wonderful condition with a warm patina. Collector quality.
