This Beautiful belt buckle is made entirely of Mid-Victorian Hand-Carved Whitby Jet. The Brooch is deeply carved with leaves and flower blooms – in great detail.

Today it is illegal to mine jet in Whitby because the only jet left is in seams in the walls of the cliffs over the town. To remove it from the cliffs would cause them to tumble down and destroy the town. The two remaining jet cutters today have to rely on pieces that wash up on the beaches of this seacoast town...

A beautiful and rare Retro 14K yellow and white gold floral brooch featuring carved jadeite leaves and a carved rock crystal blossom. The rock crystal has an opalescent quality that appears much like moonstone. Both the front and back surfaces are finely engraved to suggest floral textures. The jade is brightly colored and contrasts nicely with the golden stems and leaves. The back is marked “14K”. Carved gemstone floral pins are quite uncommon.

This exquisite fruit berries pin was made in Austria almost exclusively for export to the United States. It has a wonderful rich color. It is made of molded or carved glass, usually transparent or translucent. The glowing appearance of the fruit is enhanced by the fact that the glass is backed with gold foil, making it both richer in color and more light reflective. The leaves and stems of the fruit pale green crystal rhinestone.

Sleek biomorphic tie clip signed "Sterling, A&K, Denmark." A&K most likely stands for Aarre & Krogh Eftf, circa 1950s. The clip measures 2.25" in total length. The rear portion which clips onto the tie measures just over 1.75". In excellent condition.

A large 1" in diameter porcelain cabochon. Abstract patterns in brown and gray, and gold overlay is the focus of this interesting Norwegian ring. Cabochon is bezel set in sleek sterling mount that has an adjustable back- which is currently a size 6.5. It is marked "925S, Norway, Sterling," and with an anchor shaped hallmark. By Porsgrund, circa 970s. The designer attributed to this piece is Anne Marie Odegaard. In excellent vintage condition.

Interesting sterling ring from Finland with a lovely rutilated quartz cabochon stone. The table measures over 1" long, and the stone stands 4/8" tall. The ring has the crown symbol, is marked "925, Made in Finland," and has an abstract hallmark which I do not recognize, along with the mark "U7" which means it was made between 1954 - 1977. size 6.5. A very nice Victorian watch fob chain of woven hair accented with 14K yellow gold fittings. The weaving is very nicely done from hair in a soft chestnut color. The center of the chain features a paneled gold fitting from which is suspended a gold-mounted pendant drop with acorns and leaves.
