A rare find. Lanvin jewelry is not often seen. This dramatic piece is of plastic with glass spacers and goldtone metal accents. The vibrant white and blue beads surround coral colored beads (paler in the picture than they actually are). The oval metal tag is marked Lanvin, Paris. Total inside length is 27".

Outstanding late Art Nouveau Continental silver cufflinks with a wonderful design of a gold spider sitting in her niello web. The workmanship and design is quite original and accomplished. Rare sterling modernist choker necklace by Sigi, c.1952. Extremely heavy, it weighs 5 troy oz(150 gms)and is in excellent condition. The concave necklace houses graduated dimensional silver balls going around the entire piece. Sigi opened his PLATEROS shop in 1952, and one rarely sees the PLATEROS mark. The necklace is signed "PLATEROS TAXCO MEXICO STERLING #17 bellmark-can't read". The choker measures 14" around and is for a small neck. Wonderfully designed and unusual piece of modernism......$...

This beautiful 19th century gilt silver and Bohemian garnet necklace with drops in the Victorian style is comprised of five large flowers and three suspended flowers encrusted with lovely ruby-red garnets all flanked by 28 smaller flower links set with garnets. Condition: excellent, all stones intact. Clasp has been restored. Measurement: 18 in. long.

This superb pin is by Taxco silversmith Sigi Pineda. The boomerang design is complimented by the overlay of dots on the oxidized background. It is signed "Sigi Tasco" "STERLING HECHO EN MEXICO" and numbered "60" with assay mark 3 (see pictures). It measures 2 1/2" x 1" and is in excellent condition.

This ring made by Erik Granit & Co of Finland has a sleek and modest design. The garnet is sawtooth-set. The shank is marked "E. GRANIT & Co DESIGN JEWELLRY." The other side is signed "EG" (stylized maker's mark), "925H," boat (for Helsinki), "R7" (for 1970) and "925 STERLING FINLAND." It is a size 6 and is in excellent condition.

Made by Kupittan Kulta of Finland is this pleasant, silver, leaf brooch. The long leaves are slightly concave, curving alongside a bezel-set, amethyst cabochon "bud." The brooch is signed, “anvil mark” (for Kupittaan Kulta), “crown in heart” mark (for Finland), “813H” (silver fineness), city mark for Turku and “H7” for 1961. It measures 2 5/8” tall x 5/8” at its widest point. It’s in excellent condition.

This Antonio Pineda tie bar is a wonderful example of his quality, modernist artistry. It is concave with a central bezel-set, oval amethyst cabochon. It is marked "ANTONIO TAXCO" (in crown), "970" and co-stamped with Los Castillo Cooperativo marks: "LOS CASTILLO SOC COOP SCL" in a circle with "SEC 2" inside (this Coop mark is double-struck--see pictures) and eagle mark "58." The tie bar measures 1 1/8" x 5/8" x 1/4" and is in very good condition.

Signed and numbered, this bold, modernist, suite is c. 1960’s. It is by the Danish designer Jorgen Jensen: best known for his work with pewter. The radiant, matching disks are concave and convex with a textured, sunburst design. The screwback earrings are marked, “PEWTER,” “Jorgen Jensen” (in script: his maker’s mark), “DENMARK 75 A.” They have a diameter of 7/8”. The huge pendant / medallion is also marked, “PEWTER Jorgen Jensen DENMARK,” but, is numbered “57.” ...

Danish silversmith Gertrude Engel made this unique, modernist ring. Her signature is found on many Anton Michelsen pieces, along with the AM crown maker’s mark (as she designed for that firm). This ring, however, is solely signed by her (see pictures). The rounded band of heavy gauge silver is 1/2” wide. It has a cluster of 10 bezel set carnelian cabochons. It is signed “Gengel,” in script (her maker’s mark), and “925S” and is in excellent condition. It is about a size 5.

This biomorphic pin c. 1950’s is made of mixed metals: sterling silver and copper, like many of Popowski’s pieces. It has an inlay of crushed stone (azurmalachite). The pin has the top layer (described above), sitting on a layer (of just over 1/8”) of obsidian backed by a layer of sterling.
