An antique silver - most probably sterling - watch fob with original chain and dog clip, this sweet little find is, I believe, from the late Victorian / Edwardian period. There is nothing mundane about it either - I find the basketweave ribbon that runs the fob's perimeter at the waist eye-catching as well as the wire-work above it. This amazing and beautiful necklace by Hector Aguilar is crafted in his favorite 940 Silver and is known as his "Six Spheres" design. An early Mexican Deco silver repousse "mask" brooch, this pieces is wrought in sterling and its maker adorned their portrait with a long, dangling earring. It is evident from the piece's craftsmanship that its creator was well-trained maestro. A fabulous Necklace Set by Sigi Pineda features four separate strands of brushed sterling silver beads which can be combined with one of three different silver and obsidian clasps to create various style necklaces. The beads measure 14 1/2", 15 1/2", 16 1/2" & 17 1/2" long. The clasps measure 7/8" by 1/2", 1" by 5/8" and 2 1/2" by 1 1/2". The largest also has a pin back so it can be worn as a brooch. It's been a very long time since I offered a Mexican clamper bracelet and I am happy to be starting again with a classic Taxco design, this repousse and shadowbox "Quetzalcoatl" example. The maestro who signs it I am familiar with - he worked in Taxco and it seems that clamper bracelets were one of his favorite forms...
