Elegant pair of 18k yellow and white gold, cultured pearl and diamond pierced earrings, circa 1950's. Centered with one 6.0mm cultured pearl surrounded by fourteen round single cut diamonds set throughout curved milgrained channels. The diamonds are predominately VS in clarity and G-I in color. Attached to the back of each earring is a pierced post with locking, hinged wire back. Measures 3/4" diameter. Weight: 5 grams.

A nice pair of vintage 18K yellow gold cufflinks in the flip-up stirrup style popularized by Cartier in the late 1940s. The circular ends are enhanced with engraved decoration. Asymmetrical design sterling modernist ring, Denmark, c.1950's. This off-center designed ring makes this a strong and surprising piece of modernism. It is signed "STERLING DENMARK 925S" plus 2 maker's marks that I cannot make out. The curved front measures 1" long and the ring is size 9. This unusual sterling silver ring was designed by Frank Patania Sr. in the 1950's. The ring size is a 7 1/2. It measures 1 3/8" tall X 3/4" & is in excellent condition with a warm, aged patina. The beautiful turquoise stone is bezel set. Patania hallmarks are FP, STERLING, & the THUNDERBIRD Shop logo.

This cornflower necklace was made by W. A. P. Watson in Solihul, England using the trade name of Exquisite (Hallmarked) from about the late 1940s to the 1970s. It is 18" in length and the cornflower sections are 1" x 11/16". Clean and bright!

An elegant pair of 18K yellow gold earclips, each featuring a cluster of round green tourmalines surrounded by a looping double border of gold. The tourmalines are have fine, saturated color, excellent cut and excellent clarity. The earrings are marked “18K”. The clips could easily be changed to posts.

A stunning cast sterling necklace with four amethyst arrowhead shaped carved stones. Measuring 16 1/2" (42 cm) long, the central sterling pieces are 1 1/2" (4.1 cm) x 1 1/8" (3.2 cm) and the two side pieces are 1 1/8" (3.2 cm) in each direction. The amethyst pieces measure 1 3/8" (3.9 cm) X 5/8" (2 cm), including the sterling caps. Beckmann sold in San Miguel de Allende from the late 1950's through the 1970's. A large pair of 18K yellow gold Sputnik earrings by H Stern. The domes are bezel-set with round amethysts, citrines, aquamarines, peridots, green tourmalines, pink tourmalines and garnets. The Sputnik design was created in the 1950’s to highlight the range of colored gemstones available from Stern’s Brazilian mines. It later came to be called “Sputnik” for its resemblance to the spiky Soviet satellite launched in 1957...

A nice pair of mid-century 14K yellow gold cufflinks set with blue sapphire cabochons. The rectangular faces are engraved in a sunburst pattern, with one end rolled over. A round cabochon sapphire is set in to each end of the opening created by the rolled edge. The stones have fine slightly violet-blue color and good clarity. The backs have toggle closures. The cufflinks are not signed, but are almost certainly by either Larter or Krementz. Marked "14K".

Modernist handmade necklace signed "SAM W. GRAVES STERLING", c.1950's. It combines an art deco and Native American feel in an interesting geometric chevron design. Not certain, but I believe that Sam Graves was a contemporary of Frank Patania and H. Fred Skaggs, working in the southwest. This hollow silver necklace shows a high degree of craftsmanship. There are 3 sections connected by a paper clip chain. The middle section measures 2 1/4" by 1". Each side section measures 1 7/8" by 3/4"...

This sterling silver & blue Nevada turquoise belt buckle was designed & signed circa 1950's by Native American Hopi designer Preston Monongye (1927-87). Buckle measures 3" X 2" & weighs 74 grams, 2.6 oz. The large Burnham turquoise nugget measures 1 1/2" X 1" and is in perfect condition. Monongye's 1950 hallmark is impressed on the reverse. A very fine pair of platinum, diamond and sapphire earrings in a classic line pattern. The brilliant round-cut diamonds graduate from .10 ct at the top to .20 ct at the bottom. Antonio Pineda Smokey quartz love knot is shown in the book Silver Seduction by Gobi Stomberg. The mounting is made with thick silver and the faceted stone is large at 1in. tall and .75in. across.
