This unique and rare Bracelet by Hector Aguilar is featured in the book Silver Masters of Mexico on page 40, plateI-55 and is known as the "Chain with Dome" bracelet. Measures 8 1/2" long with the chain portion measuring 3/4" wide. The dome section functions as the clasp and measures 1 1/4" wide. Hallmarked with the joined HA, Made in Mexico, Sterling. Very nice condition with no damage noted. An wonderful bracelet by this important Taxco master.

The sterling silver cat & fish pin was designed by Hubert Harmon in the 1940's. Fish with hook measures 5" long. Cat head with cascabells is 1 1/2" X 1 1/2". The connecting chain is 10" long. Cat has amethyst eyes, fish with amethyst eye & amethyst tail detail. Pin back and locks work perfectly. Beautiful condition. Harmon designs are rare as he only created his Taxco, Mexico silver pieces for a very few years in the 1940's...

An unusual pair of twisted Taxco, Mexico Sterling Silver earrings with bronze or copper ends by William Spratling. We have not been able to find another pair in this design. Measure 3/4" across and 5/8' high. Marked on the back of each screw back with Spratling Silver which was used from 1940-44. Screw backs hold securely. Have some tarnish, a tiny ding and minor scratches. Great design. Pre Eagle.

A rare pair of sterling silver and enamel scarab cuff links by the well known Danish silversmith, Erik Magnussen. After working at Gorham and having his own shops in Chicago and New York, he opened a shop in Hollywood and designed for the stars. He returned to Denmark in 1939.

These measures 1 1/8" long and 5/8" across. Marked with the conjoined EM monogram, Sterling, Style # 1341, Erik Magnussen and Made in Denmark. Marked 925S on the toggles which hold securely...

Beginning in approximately 1943, due to the war, Coro limited the use of hard to obtain rhinestones and created many different sterling silver designs each utilizing one one central rhinestone.

This pin is 2 1/4". It is hallmarked Coro sterling.

A very fine piece of 1 ¾” long tubular green jade is the centerpiece of this high karat gold broach. The straps and vine design is enhanced by a moving and working rectangular bell on the bottom. The height of the broach is 7/8” including the bell.

This is a pre-1948 Garcia repousse bracelet that is 1.25in. wide and 7in. long. The barrels are straight and there are no dents. The weight is 52 grams and it is made of thick silver. It feels heavy to the hand. The patina is really warm and the stones have mellowed with age and are a wonderful mix of blue greens. The piece fits more like a bangle and these links are longer than most links at 1.75in. each and are rounded to make a perfect shape for the wrist...

This is a deeply carved vintage Mexican silver necklace and earring set with the necklace weighing 70 grams and the earrings weighing 11 grams. The necklace is 16in. long and the links for the necklace and identical matched set earrings being 1.5in. x 1in. in size. The pieces are hallmarked as shown. The clamper bracelet has sold. A vintage sterling silver Palm Tree brooch by Frederick Davis. This early version has an unusual 'C' clasp with a locking hinge to hold the pin in place.

Signed with the impressed conjoined FD. Pre Eagle, (pre 1949).

Measures 1 3/4" across and 2 1/8" high. Weighs 24 gr. The brooch has a warm patina with a little tarnish. The tip of the pin is slightly curved to prevent you from sticking yourself.

A substantial, Pre Columbian design 950 silver bracelet from Taxco, Mexico by the noted silversmith Roman Chavarrieta, who was known to work for Plateria Emma.

Signed R. Chavarrieta, Taxco, Mex and 950 which is better than sterling. Measures 7 1/2" long and 1 3/8" wide. Has two hook clasps that hold securely.

This Showgirl-in-profile pin with long wavy bejeweled tresses. It is two toned riveted metal version.

This pin is 2 7/8" long by 2" wide.

Because of its size and aesthetic appeal, the "Showgirl" is a satisfying motif to collect in its many permutations, including the wood version.

Dating 1930's - 40's, this amethyst bracelet from Fred Davis pulls out all the stops. The repoussé silver work is superb. A beautiful 14K yellow gold floral pin by Tiffany & Co. Pointed, swirled petals surround a central diamond and blue sapphire cluster. The prong-set, brilliant-cut stones have excellent bright color and clarity as expected of Tiffany. This brooch is an excellent example of the sort of stylized floral gem-set designed that Tiffany produced for daywear toward the end of the retro period and in the very early 1950s. The back is marked “14K” and “Tiffany & Co.”

Origin: America, ca. 1950...

This desirable pin is full of jazzy faux diamonds and brilliant ruby red rhinestones that sparkle and glitter like there is no tomorrow. And that’s just what it was about during the flamboyant Deco period... glitzy and flashy.

The broach measures 2 1/2” across and 1 ¼” deep. It is in excellent vintage condition with some slight plating wear and guaranteed vintage.

His items are rare because he only produced jewelry between 1935-1943 and was killed in WWII.

A circa 1940’s estate platinum and diamond eternity band that is 7½ mm wide will fit a size 5½ finger for that Cinderella in your life. The band has an open-work design and is decorated by 30 full cut diamonds. The approximate total weight of all diamonds is 0.75Ct.

Signed by Graziella Laffi, the often referred-to as "Spratling of Peru" this bird brooch can also be found with blue enamel adorning its eye. Executed in all-silver in our case, with hand-etched and stippled details, I like to think of it as a pelican or even a seagull, maybe because she has used the same motif in necklace and bracelet form as well but combined with fish-shaped stations...

This ring made by Miguel Martinez is such a striking creative piece of seeing a stone an letting the rock speak. The band flows from underneath to the front to hold in the stone. The dimensions are 12.4 grams heavy and a size 8.5 which can be sized. The face is 1.25in. long and .75in. wide. This is an early piece of Miguels work and he became the principle designer of Rancho Allegre. Properly hallmarked as show. Fabulous and daring piece.

Mexican silver marked with Taxco 980 always exemplifies fine quality. This pectoral is no exception with a weight of 70 grams heavy and a wearable length of 17in. The drop is 4in. by 2in. No dents or damage. This design is seldom seen, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

A heart shape hand carved shell cameo set on a gilt wooden frame...

This exquisite fruit berries pin was made in Austria almost exclusively for export to the United States. It has a wonderful rich color. It is made of molded or carved glass, usually transparent or translucent. The glowing appearance of the fruit is enhanced by the fact that the glass is backed with gold foil, making it both richer in color and more light reflective. The leaves and stems of the fruit pale green crystal rhinestone.

This pair of estate oval carved jade earrings is set in 14Kt yellow gold settings with none pierced screw backs. The 15 X 12 millimeter oval carved jade pieces are prong set in the center. The overall measurements of the earrings are 19 X 15 millimeters.

Large sterling and copper martini stir/spoon by Los Castillo, Mexico, c.1948. Hand wrought and made of heavy gauge silver, it weighs 2 1/2 troy ounces and measures 15 INCHES LONG. Design has wrapped copper braid at top and large hand hammered spoon(measures 2 1/8" by 1 5/8"). Signed "LOS CASTILLO TAXCO HANDWROUGHT (bellmark)15" and is in excellent condition. This is a beautifully executed, thick silver bracelet that is 1in. wide on the side panels. The piece weighs 29.7 grams and has an airy cut out design and features an amethyst cabachon. It is slightly sizable and fits a 6.5in. to a 7in. the best. Marked Silver Mexico which dates the piece to pre-1948. This example of early Taxco silver work is a classic and displays an aura of elegance to those who gaze upon it.
