This pair of traditional silver ear plugs were worn in the enlarge holes of the Yao woman of China and Thailand. The same filgree pattern is on both sides of the earplugs. The plugs are 1+ inches in diameter and 1/2 inches thick.

Originally, this was the largest of a set of 3 graduated matching silver necklaces. They were worn as a set for festival by the Miao Chinese Ethnic Minority women. The necklace was skillfully hand-formed from a sheet of silver into a curving tapered tube with a reposse pattern of 2 dragons chasing pearl. It spans 10.5 inches across.

This necklace consists of 2 carved ivory beads 3/4ths inch diameter, 8 large carved bone beads 3/4th inch, and 88 smaller carved bone beads (1/2 inch). Each large bone and ivory bead has a protective metal sleeve around the stringing hole. If opened up the strand would measure approx 48 inches...beautiful patina on both the ivory and the bone beads....

A collection of antique Ethiopian silver jewels, most of them Coptic Christian crosses. There is also a digit finger ring for a lady, and an ear spoon. Old Ethiopian silver, like these crosses, usually has a very high silver content, but is not hall marked. However, all these items have been tested for a silver content of at least 925 /1000. Kerr Sterling guilloche lavender and white enamel pin is 2 7/8" long by 2 3/8" wide. It weighs 38.3 grams. Very heavy for a pin.

This pair of 14kt gold, oval, two-sided cuff links is a very fine example of early 20th-century American jewelry-making. They are mounted with discs of mother-of-pearl, and each side is set with a tiny seed pearl. The edges are intricately engraved with geometric designs; the cuff links show hardly any signs of wear. The secure connecting figure-eight bars bear the maker’s mark of Larter & Sons, of Newark, NJ. They measure 5/8 inch long by a little over 3/8 inch wide.

An outstanding pair of Edwardian 14K yellow gold double-sided cufflinks, the simple oval faces set alternately with round rubies and old European cut diamonds. The faces are joined by unusual arched connectors that give the cufflinks a nice, comfortable spread to fit the wrist. The cufflinks may be worn with either the diamond or the ruby sides showing outward. The gemstones are of fine quality...

Tibetan Silver hand made Bangle Bracelet, 1" high, 2 1/2" 2" wide inside, 1" wide opening, with 6 Tibetan Characters and the weight is rather heavy. The condition is very good.

Large Gusanos (caterpiller)Mexican solid gold earrings at 2inches by half an inch wide make for a grand presence. The weight is 7.3 grams of gold that tests from around 9kt to 12kt. These older filigree pieces are not signed and originate from Oaxaca. Absolutely lovely 2 rows of seed pearls are wired and tied off on the back and some solder over the ends finishes the durability of the piece. The seed pearls look more silver than the monitor shows them to be.

These c. 1910 cuff links exemplify a classic design by a preeminent American maker. Oval, both sides with 14-kt gold backs inset with black mother-of pearl and enhanced with a center seed pearl. The rims are likely platinum. The gold bridge bars are marked for Larter and Sons, Newark, NJ. Each side measures 5/8 inch long by 3/8 inch wide.

This pretty pin is in the style of Murrle, Bennett and Archibald Knox. The design is that of a heart interlaced with a navette-shaped frame (this interlace-type motif is also called “entrelac”). It is centered by an oval turquoise, and has a safety chain – always useful! Unsigned, and marked 9ct. It measures 1-1/2 x 3/4", and weighs 2.6g. A wonderful example of the cc. 1910 era jewelry of this stick pin, set with a lively fiery 3 X 5 millimeter oval cabochon opal. The edge of the stick pin is decorated by circle like designs. Any lapel accentuated by this pin would look great. The pin is marked with the maker’s mark S – M and 14K.

Very simple yet elegant is this beveled oval lapis broach set in 14Kt yellow gold. The lapis is 1 ¼” or 31 millimeter long and ¾” or 19 millimeter wide. The overall measurements of the broach are 1 3/8” or 35 millimeters by 15/16” or 23 millimeters.

This sunburst pin dates back to the very early 1900’s. The 1 3/8” diameter pin is made of 14kt yellow gold and is centered by a 5.5 mm cabochon opal.
