This pair of 14kt gold, oval, two-sided cuff links is a very fine example of early 20th-century American jewelry-making. They are mounted with discs of mother-of-pearl, and each side is set with a tiny seed pearl. The edges are intricately engraved with geometric designs; the cuff links show hardly any signs of wear. The secure connecting figure-eight bars bear the maker’s mark of Larter & Sons, of Newark, NJ. They measure 5/8 inch long by a little over 3/8 inch wide.

An elegant pair of Edwardian 14K yellow gold, platinum and mother-of-pearl cufflinks by Carrington. The round, slightly concave mother-of-pearl faces are centered with small natural pearls and enclosed within engraved platinum borders. Both the mother-of-pearl and the pearls have very nice luster and color overtones. This Art Nouveau broach is made of 14Kt yellow gold and centered by an enameled four leaf clover and decorated by two small oriental pearls. The pin is in great condition and has the width of 1” and the height of 7/8”.

The old world charm and workmanship is obvious, when you look at this great pinwheel design broach / pendant from circa 1910. A beautifully detailed carving of an unusual stone cameo depicting a man is set in a 14Kt pink gold frame. The early 20th century oval cameo pendant measures 35 X 27 millimeters without the jump ring and the bail.

This sunburst pin dates back to the very early 1900’s. The 1 3/8” diameter pin is made of 14kt yellow gold and is centered by a 5.5 mm cabochon opal. The use of the fold down swivel makes it possible to wear this great pin as a pendant if one so desires. Very versatile, you get two pieces of jewelry for the price of one.

Very simple yet elegant is this beveled oval lapis broach set in 14Kt yellow gold. The lapis is 1 ¼” or 31 millimeter long and ¾” or 19 millimeter wide. The overall measurements of the broach are 1 3/8” or 35 millimeters by 15/16” or 23 millimeters.

A wonderful example of the cc. 1910 era jewelry of this stick pin, set with a lively fiery 3 X 5 millimeter oval cabochon opal. The edge of the stick pin is decorated by circle like designs. Any lapel accentuated by this pin would look great. The pin is marked with the maker’s mark S – M and 14K.

This pretty pin is in the style of Murrle, Bennett and Archibald Knox. The design is that of a heart interlaced with a navette-shaped frame (this interlace-type motif is also called “entrelac”). Antique Peranakan or Straits Chinese silver belt, probably early 20th century. With its Aceh style Phoenix bird theme this belt was traditionally used by ladies at weddings and other festivities. The buckle – now missing but easily replaced by a matching textile ribbon - would have held a larger version of the Phoenix motif. With diffuse marks but tested for a silver content of 500/1000.
