A very nice late Victorian hinged bangle bracelet worked in a pierced scrolling design. The front features a row of three square cabochon rhodolite garnets set diagonally. The rhodolites have a lovely purplish hue that distinguishes them from their more common all reddish-brown garnet cousins. The bangle is fairly wide, but the piercing gives it an elegant lightness. An elegant bracelet composed of open links ornately decorated in a pattern of acanthus leaves alternating with blue sapphire oval cabochons. The sapphires do not show indication of heat treatment. Each link is slightly curved, so the bracelet lies nicely on the wrist. The clasp is masterfully constructed to be invisible once closed. A finely crafted lace like 14Kt pink gold openwork Victorian three-tiered broach decorated by nine half seed pearls. The diameter of the broach is 1 1/4". The marking on the back "585MM" indicates a European maker.

This wonderfully executed 10Kt gold locket, decorated by the traditional Freemason insignia dates back to the Victorian era. The insignia is enhanced by 10 rose cut diamonds and a natural ruby. The locket is ¾” wide and 1” long without the jump rings on top. The total length of the locket with the oversized jump ring is 1 7/8”. There are some slight dimples on the back, but the over all condition is very good.

A very nice 32nd Degree Masonic fob in the form of a double-headed eagle. The bird grasps a platinum saber in its talons. The heads are crowned with a triangular emblem with enameled decoration, which then leads to a short fob chain and a buttonhole bar. The triangular emblem is hinged so that the eagle always hangs nicely. The detailing of the bird’s feathers, the hilt of the sword, etc. is superb. The bale is stamped 14K and bears the hallmarks of J.J. Sommer & Co.
