Calling the vintage Mexican silver and black stone "mask" ring I am presenting here massive is not an exaggeration. It is not just the actual ring size (9.5 US) that makes it so; it is also the textured, solid setting, quite masculine in design, and the beautifully carved, stupendous effigy it houses. I am not sure what the stone is - I think it might be onyx but it could also be black agate. I am fascinated by its opaque gravity and the way its satin finish invites the touch...

A pair of cufflinks in Tiffany & Co.’s classic button design, the faces carved from plaques of tiger’s-eye accented itwh yellow gold “stitches.” This design was made in plain gold and also with several different gemstone varieties. The rich gold and brown tones of the tiger’s-eye combine with the yellow gold for a very handsome effect. The faces are joined to toggle backs by solid connectors. The toggles aer marked “Tiffany & Co./14K”.

An attractive 1-3/4 x 1" three colour gold pin in the form of three maple leaves on a branch. The leaves are textured and have green, yellow and rose gold; it is stamped 10K, it has a safety catch, it weighs 3.3 grams, and it is in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use...

1970s chic statement size runway link necklace in heavy sculpted cast metal, in silvertone with goldtone accents, with foldover clasp. Top couture quality, possibly an unsigned Les Bernard. Beautiful vintage 1970s clip earrings with Lucite elements simulating nephrite jade with outstanding detail. Dark goldtone clips. Probably French. 2 inches long, 1 1/8 inches front to back, and 3/4 inch side to side. Excellent condition. There is original glue showing around the metal back, but this does not show when worn. This past year seems to have been a Carmen Beckmann year for One Good Eye Silver. And even though I cannot claim it was because of planning, it has not been entirely out of luck either. One of the few female contributors to Mexico’s 20th c Silver Renaissance that we know of, Beckmann’s jewelry are works of a confident designer, impeccably finished and at her best moments, incredibly creative as well...

Very glam vintage necklace in gunmetal gray mesh with huge prong set stones in red, smoky topaz, and purple. The stones feel like glass. Most of the stones are openbacked and all of those are unfoiled. With a slide clasp with emerald cut colorless stones and tiny lavender stones. Probably Italian, circa 1970. An elegant pair of 18K yellow gold knot-style cufflinks set with blue sapphires by Boucheron. The four-lobed faces are formed by a rope-motif tied in an ornate knot. Each lobe features a bright blue round sapphire. The sapphires have eye-clean clarity and medium blue color. The faces are joined by solid connectors to toggle backs decorated in a complementary twisted rope design...

Gorgeous big statement vintage 1970s or earlier Santo Domingo Native American necklace with large graduated turquoise nuggets spaced with small shell heishe beads, and with heishe beads at the ends, and with small silver wire hook clasp. It weighs 191 grams. 25 inches wearable length and the largest bead is 1 3/8 inches wide. Excellent condition with some discoloration of the turquoise stabilizing material on a few beads toward the ends, not noticeable at a short distance...

A large heart-shaped 18K yellow and white gold, diamond and ruby love pendant (“medaille d’amour”) with a rebus spelling out “plus qu’hier, moins que demain” (“more than yesterday, less than tomorrow”), a line from the love poem written by Rosemonde Gérard to her husband Edmond Rostand, author of “Cyrano,” in 1889.
