Composed of two rectangular layers of sterling silver, top one curved and with a cutout comma-shaped design exposing a highly oxidized interior. The ring is marked sterling and has Joseph Skinger’s script signature mark. Skinger was a Vermont studio metalsmith who was most productive during the 1950s and 1960s; he died in 1967. I am told by Carol Skinger, Joe's daughter, that the design is known as 'Mountain Shadow' and was produced as choker necklaces, bracelets and pins...

The beauty of the pin speaks for itself. The well-crafted bird is perched on a branch with leaves. It has a red stone eye, and is adorned with rhinestones and turquoise stones. It measures 2 1/3" x 1 1/8". The back is marked BOUCHER and numbered 8502P. It is in excellent condition.

A vintage enamelled sterling silver class ring from the High School of Commerce, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada (merged 1966, now closed). This size 5-1/4 ring features the 5/8 x 7/16" enamel crest, and it weighs 2.5 grams. It is unmarked but tests as sterling and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

Very pretty vintage floral pin in 14K yellow gold set with a cluster of six pearls. The setting looks somewhat like a poinsettia blossom. The Florentine finish and pierced veining add a nice bit of detail to the setting. The pearls, ranging from 4.5 to 5.0 millimeters, have ivory body color with very rosé overtones. The nacre is thick and very lustrous. Tested and guaranteed 14K gold.

Possibly made for Dior, this lovely necklace with matching clip earrings has the distinctive S shaped hook which was frequently used on Dior necklaces. One earring is marked FRANCE. Circa 1960. In goldtone metal with large glass based faux pearls, opaque topaz stones, and chain tassels. In a longer length which is currently very fashionable. The necklace has a wearable length of 22 inches. A nice smaller-size pyramidal Etruscan style 18K yellow gold fob charm set with carnelian and dyed green chalcedony cabochons. The gold surfaces are finely decorated with beading and wirework in the antique Etruscan manner. The original jump ring is stamped with Italian 18K hallmarks.

A fine modernist 18K yellow gold ring by Burle Marx set with an intricately carved bi-color watermelon tourmaline in the "forma livre" (free form) style. Beautifully constructed necklace with large green and copper Murano glass stones and glass based faux pearls in heavy antiqued goldtone metal. Marked CHRISTIAN DIOR BY KRAMER. 1960s.
