Magnificent, rare vintage Georg Jensen sterling half disc link bracelet no. 169 designed by Astrid Fog c. 1969. Astrid Fog was known for her bold, simple designs often featuring geometric shapes as this piece. This bracelet measures 7 3/4" end to end, is 1 1/8" wide and weighs an impressive 128 grams. A very attractive vintage 14K yellow gold link bracelet, each link set with round brilliant cut diamonds. The gold surfaces are textured to resemble the tree bark. The diamonds are graded as I/SI1. The clasp is stamped with a French mark for imported 14K gold.

Well designed, the buckle has two beads and applied geometric and curved silver sections, in pre-hispanic designs. Circa mid-century, this necklace was produced by Tane Orfebres of Mexico City. Tane, founded in the 1950's, is referred to as the "Tiffany's of Mexico". This is one of their earlier pieces.

It's an exceptional and rare necklace, with a huge center pendulum drop which swing freely. There are four sections to the collar, which hooks together at the rear. This is a true statement piece, and one which will not fail to be instantly noticed.
