We have a unique Los Ballesteros pectoral necklace with a drop of 2.75in.across and 2in. tall. The stone is a color changing synthetic that was widely used in the Spratling era by many tallers. This is a very old pre 1948 Mexican silver bracelet that is in exceptional condition. The 5 stones are barrel cut amethyst with no cracks or chips. The underside shows many work marks. The barrels have no splits however there are reflections of light that may appear so. The bead work was also very taken care of without damage. The height of the piece is 1 1/8th inches. Marked SILVER MEXICO which I find to be made with quality and a weight of 65 grams...

Huge and bold, vintage sterling " Armadillo " belt buckle by Hector Aguilar. It consists of 5 panels held together by rivets and measures a very impressive 6 1/4" by 2 3/4". Weighing a hefty 141 grams, it is in fine original condition and signed with Hector Aguilar's hallmark dating 1943-48. Suitable for a man or woman, this is a show stopping piece.

Dramatic large hand made sterling Mayan face/headdress pin by LOS CASTILLO, Mexico, 1942. Measures 3 1/4" by 2 1/4" and signed "LOS CASTILLO TAXCO STERLING MADE IN MEXICO 530". This pin has a barette-type of closure. However, the points are very sharp so is not a barette but rather an alternate type of pin closure. A Charming and rare pair of vintage Sterling Silver stylized Bird Earrings by the famous Taxco jewelry artist Hector Aguilar. They measure 1 1/3" wide by 3/4" tall and weigh 10.1 grams total. The screw backs are in good working order and the silver has developed an aged patina that highlights the bird's detail. Hallmarked with the HA mono in the center of "Made in Mexico Sterling". Plateria Cecilia has produced a very nice rendition of Mexico City folk work. The stones are warmed teal turquoise, dark red coral which looks Mediteranian and an amethyst that is jelly clear purple. The center Medallion is 2 inches tall and the bracelet is 1.25in. tall. There is 7.25in. of length and also 60 grams of silver.

This amazing bracelet by Hector Aguilar is quite unique in that is made in Sterling Silver Vermeil. Known as the "Linked Circles Bracelet" and featured in the book Silver Masters of Mexico on page 63.It measures 7 1/2" long by 1" wide and weighs 77.9 grams. Hallmarked "Sterling Silver, HA, Made in Mexico". It has a secure box clasp and is in good condition with only light signs of wear. A very beautiful bracelet and a rare find for the collector.

Bold and striking long sterling earrings designed by Karl Gustav Hansen for Hans Hansen of Denmark. These earrings are from the "Future" line of jewelry manufactured by Hans Hansen between 1932 and 1948. They hang 3" long, are 1/2" wide at the bottoms and are screw backs. Weighing 15 grams total, they are in fine original condition. A fabulous Modernist design.

Gorgeous vintage 1940s or 1950s French five strand bracelet with glittering pink faceted glass bezel set open back unfoiled pointed back stones and glass based faux baroque pearls mounted in goldtone metal with an early oversized spring ring clasp with a thumb collar rather than a tab. Excellent condition with two small losses to two pearls, pictured but not noticeable when worn. Slight wear to the goldtone finish at the clasp is also pictured but again not noticeable when worn...

This is fantastic piece of 40s figural jewelry. Each of the five links is set with hand painted figural Asia Princess face masks and accented with small faux pearls and a gold headband with tassel drops. Each face has red lips and white eyebrows and eye slits.

Dating in the 1940s, this massive sterling silver and azur-malachite "mozaico Azteca" inlay pendant necklace is signed by Taxco maestro Jose Anton. A great, early copper and silver metal cuff bracelet by Francisco Rebajes with a large layered stylized fish in the center.

Marked with the stylized Rebajes on the end. Measures 5 3/4" around with an opening of 1 1/4". Could probably be adjusted slightly. Measures 2" wide. There are some spots, areas of tarnish and minor surface scratches to the finish.

Striking hard to find design.

This is a Rafael Dominguez turquoise bracelet made before 1948 and properly hallmarked as shown. The weight is 58 grams heavy and is 1.25in. wide. It is 7in. long. The silver is thick and Dominguez is know for his high quality workmanship. Dominguez is a noted maestro in Penny Morril's books. When you own a Dominguez piece you know you bought the best! The stones are beautiful and have no chips or cracks. The piece looks fantastic with the turquoise drippy necklace also listed on my site.
