Signed William Spratling for his first phase comes this wonderful modernist design.The Mexican silver necklace is in a pylon shape and has a beautiful natural patina.There is a 16in. wearable length and the drops are approximately 1in. x 1in. It is open backed repousse made with thick silver of at least 980 silver showing a very white color. The work marks are exciting to see in this piece. No damage, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

We have a signed, early Fred Davis bracelet today to offer. The amethyst stones are a mix of milky swirl to a dark purple. When you look into them it appears to be a whole other world inside them. They are without chips or cracks. I could not do justice to them in my photos and there is reflection on their surfaces. They are a fancy barrel cut and the all silver links area cut in a half cylinder shape. There are no dents or damage. A little over 1 inch tall in height and a weight of 70 grams...

A cool 1930s apple juice celluloid & nut bracelet. This funky vintage 1930s mixed apple juice clear celluloid link bracelet has natural (probably coquille) nuts with gilt brass mounted balls. This 7" bracelet has 3/4" nut drops and it closes with a springring catch; it is unsigned and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, scrapes, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

A hand made low grade silver "flower" pendant with 15 faceted natural antique-cut rubies, a single faceted natural emerald, three oval turquoise stones and opaline glass. Three stones are missing, a few rubies are crunched and some are replacements, and the small emerald at the top needs to be secured in its setting. Date unknown, unmarked and the silver untested...

We have a superb Los Castillo 18in. long necklace to offer today. The links are 1 3/8ths tall making for a striking presence. The stones have no cracks or chips and also have no striations that come to the surface of the amethyst. The color is a beautiful mix of milky swirl and jelly purple. Properly hallmarked as shown with the old linear mark for Los Castillo when Margot Van Voorhies was married to Don Antonio Castillo. Definitely a collectors treasure.

Hand chased with design from the Mayan glyphs this Casa Prieto bracelet is stunning on. The weight is 84 grams heavy and is 1.25in. tall. The silver is thick and adding a modernist machine age look is the intentional super thick rings that attach the links. Condition is without damage of any kind and collector quality..

This stunning bracelet by the famous Antonio Pineda showcases his remarkable design skill and quality craftmanship. A Charming and rare pair of vintage Sterling Silver stylized Bird Earrings by the famous Taxco jewelry artist Hector Aguilar. They measure 1 1/3" wide by 3/4" tall and weigh 10.1 grams total. The screw backs are in good working order and the silver has developed an aged patina that highlights the bird's detail. Hallmarked with the HA mono in the center of "Made in Mexico Sterling". A very special pair of earrings with a great look.

This traditional Miao Chinese Minority hair pin would have been worn by young woman for festival. The butterfly motif is in reference to the Miao creation myth. The hair pin is 5 inches long.

We have a unique Los Ballesteros pectoral necklace with a drop of 2.75in.across and 2in. tall. The stone is a color changing synthetic that was widely used in the Spratling era by many tallers. The wearable length is just under 16in. Being a pectoral style the drop rests at just below the hollow of the neck and slightly tips outward making it very comfortable to wear. An extension is available if you desire to wear long instead of the pectoral length...

Huge and bold, vintage sterling " Armadillo " belt buckle by Hector Aguilar. It consists of 5 panels held together by rivets and measures a very impressive 6 1/4" by 2 3/4". Weighing a hefty 141 grams, it is in fine original condition and signed with Hector Aguilar's hallmark dating 1943-48. Suitable for a man or woman, this is a show stopping piece.

This is a very old pre 1948 Mexican silver bracelet that is in exceptional condition. The 5 stones are barrel cut amethyst with no cracks or chips. The underside shows many work marks. The barrels have no splits however there are reflections of light that may appear so. The bead work was also very taken care of without damage. The height of the piece is 1 1/8th inches. Marked SILVER MEXICO which I find to be made with quality and a weight of 65 grams...

From the Futuristic Hans Hansen line(1932-1948), a pair of solid sterling dangle earrings by Karl Gustav Hansen. They have been retrofitted for pierced ears and hang 2.75" with a combined weight of 10.9gr.

Beautifully stamped with ornamentation in the Native American / Southwestern style and centered by a rich blue turquoise stone with warm dark brown matrix the cuff is, of course, also ideal for those of us out there with very small wrists...

Dramatic large hand made sterling Mayan face/headdress pin by LOS CASTILLO, Mexico, 1942. Measures 3 1/4" by 2 1/4" and signed "LOS CASTILLO TAXCO STERLING MADE IN MEXICO 530". This pin has a barette-type of closure. However, the points are very sharp so is not a barette but rather an alternate type of pin closure. This Los Castillo early hallmarked necklace was designed by Margot Van Voorhies when wed to Antonio Castillo. Together they started the shop Los Castillo. This is one of the most stunning designs in the Mexican Silver Renaissance. The length is 18 inches long and a fraction over 1.75 inches tall. The weight is 239 grams being hand made balls in the centers and hand chased swirls to the tops. The end piece of the swirl is repousse giving it a unique depth to the design...

Bold and striking long sterling earrings designed by Karl Gustav Hansen for Hans Hansen of Denmark. These earrings are from the "Future" line of jewelry manufactured by Hans Hansen between 1932 and 1948. They hang 3" long, are 1/2" wide at the bottoms and are screw backs. Weighing 15 grams total, they are in fine original condition. A fabulous Modernist design.

We are offering a very old, Mexican Silver carved amethyst necklace crafted with heavy repousse. The center stone drop is larger at 2in. x 1.75in. and is also smoother to the touch. Plateria Cecilia has produced a very nice rendition of Mexico City folk work. The stones are warmed teal turquoise, dark red coral which looks Mediteranian and an amethyst that is jelly clear purple. This amazing bracelet by Hector Aguilar is quite unique in that is made in Sterling Silver Vermeil. Known as the "Linked Circles Bracelet" and featured in the book Silver Masters of Mexico on page 63.It measures 7 1/2" long by 1" wide and weighs 77.9 grams.
