This extremely exciting and entertaining piece is circa 1970s. It is slightly convex. The back is marked with the eagle number 20, STERLING. It is also marked HECHO EN MEXICO DF, 925 and a maker's mark that resembles conjoined letters - see pictures. The pin / brooch has a diameter of 1 5/8". This is quite an unusual piece, has good heft and is in excellent condition.

A museum quality oval pendant signed Benevidez (Johnny) and Tim Yazzie Sterling. Possibly a piece by both men who are Santo Domingo/Navajo artists. The Tim Yazzie mark is not typical however if one searches the web, one can find similar pieces created by both men. Silver overlay designs highlight the intricately cut lapis,onyx and turquoise stones. A solid pendant, it measures 3-1/4 x 1-1/2" and weighs a hefty 49gr. The sterling collar has a hook clasp and is marked TS 91 Taxco 925.

A striking 9 strand sterling bracelet with chiseled design terminals by Navajo silversmith Johnny Mike Begay who worked at the White Hogan Shop in Scottsdale, AZ. and also worked on his own. It measures 5 1/4" around in the inside with an additional 1 1/4" opening and is 2 3/4" wide. Weighing 59 grams, it is in fine original condition and signed JMB as shown. A very bold statement on the wrist.

These earrings feature simple, classic geometrical designs enhanced with oxidation that is reminiscent of Southwest design. The earrings are not marked, but test for sterling silver; the screw backs are marked sterling. The surface exhibits a warm, aged patina. This watch is great. It is flanked with 2 decorative, sterling silver, applied Kokopelli characters on a textured background. The diameter of the face is 1 1/8". The watch tips measure 1 1/4" x 1 1/8" (at widest) and taper down to 7/8". Each tip is marked Sterling and has a maker's mark VVVV with under it VV. The watch has a decorative, stainless steel expansion band, as well as a stainless steel back. It has a hand-winding, mechanical watch movement.

This Navajo squash blossom is made of heavy sterling and with expert craftsmanship. It is signed as shown by YH. The long bead is 1.5in. long and the disk beads are 5/8th of an inch tall. I purchased this in the 70's and it has been in my collection ever since and hardly worn. The beads are silky smooth sterling and weighs 172.5 grams. The length is a luxurious 30in. long. Strung on strong chain and in perfect condition, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

This band ring is 3/8" wide. It is a size 9. It has a nice oxidized background and patina. It is marked MEXICO MA and has the eagle / assay mark that is hard to make out. This piece is in excellent condition.

This interesting handmade pin is composed of thin interwoven silver rods that evoke an unfinished piece of textile. It is sturdy and the secure pin stem and clasp are applied so as to wear the piece on a diagonal. On the back is an applied plaque bearing the mark for Mexico and 925 for sterling, and an unidentified serpentine mark that looks to have been struck twice. The piece is possibly from the 1960s or early 1970s. It measures 2 inches by 2 inches square. Weight: 21.2 grams
