A large vintage Mexican sterling baby deer pin c1930s-40. This 3" x 1-3/8" pin is of hollow construction, and it has a green turquoise glass eye. It has a safety catch, and it is stamped PLATA STERLING 925. This ornate Peruzzi sterling silver necklace dates from the 1950s and features a central eagle drop flanked by grotesque masks. They are suspended from a bead chain. Danish Modern 14k gold ring by Jens Asby, Denmark, 1960s. The looped design of the setting perfectly highlights the glowing reticulated quartz sphere. The stone is an undrilled sagenitic quartz, which is clear with black inclusions. The ring is marked with the Jens Asby hallmark, "585 CFH DENMARK HANDMADE". Very good vintage condition.

Superbly crafted, profusely decorated and visually powerful this early Mexico City repousse figural brooch is an a rather rare example of vermeil silver jewelry from the country's 20th c. Silver Renaissance. I will admit that I am not particularly fond of vermeil - I love the look and feel of aged silver without "enhancements" that make it look like something it is actually not. Yet there are those very very scarce moments when a piece like this shows up and it makes me reconsider...

This vintage14Kt yellow gold and carved carnelian necklace is 16” long and the carved carnelian pendant hangs 1 ½” from the bottom of the necklace. There are three 5 mm carnelian beads and two flat, three-dimensional fluted beads create the art deco pattern of the necklace.

These delicate sterling silver pendant earrings have scrolled frames supporting small teardrops. They are designed in the tradition of solje jewelry from Norway.
