The two strap-like decorative elements on either side of the locket lift away, allowing the sphere to be unfolded into a locket accommodating six photos. This William Spratling Mexican Silver Bracelet is from his first design period 1931-1946 and consider one of his most iconic designs. It measures 7 1/4" long by 1" wide and weighs 70.6 grams of sterling silver. Hallmarked with the WS mono, Spratling Made in Mexico, and Spratling Silver. A fine pair of vintage 18K yellow gold cufflinks by Van Cleef & Arpels. Each of the faces is designed as seed cluster similar to a thistle or the middle of a black-eyed Susan. During the 1960s, VCA excelled in naturalistic motifs interpreted in finely worked gold. These were a reaction to the glamorous diamond and gemstone-encrusted creations of the 1950s. This band ring is just under 1/2" wide. It is a size 6. Its design consists of triangles and "balls" over an oxidized background.
