A very rare 14K yellow gold and enamel pin in the form of an oyster shell complete with a small pearl. The enamel is beautifully worked in shades of greenish- and silvery-grey. The shell is depicted as slightly opened with pearl resting along the opened edge. The back of the pin is stamped with the 14K gold hallmark of Alberts & Son, Inc., one of the Newark jewelers.

Circa 1860 natural shell inlaid with gold and silver. Extremely tiny handiwork that seems to be a completely lost art. This cross is carved into a beautiful scalloped shape and has a floral motif inlaid on the top. It measures approximately 1.5" long and 1" across. The shell is 3/16" thick. It has a simple bail and we have strung it on a beautiful two-sided ribbon. It is in excellent condition with no chips in the shell and no metal work missing.

A fabulous 14K yellow gold and platinum brooch by William Ruser commissioned to celebrate the astounding victory of the Pittsburgh Pirates over the New York Yankees in the 1960 World Series. The brooch is designed as one of Ruser's classic waif-like children, this time dressed in a pirate's costume. A fabulous pair of vintage earrings in 18K yellow gold set with diamonds by Tiffany & Co. The oval shape is formed of reeded bars interspersed with prong-set diamonds, creating a sort of basketweave texture. The diamonds are very fine, F color, VVS1 clarity. Each earring is marked “1992 Tiffany & Co. 750”. The earrings are presented in their original vintage box from Tiffany.

This Quetzalcoatl necklace and brooch is a true sculpture. Beautifully detailed with 107 grams of heavy silver repousse. The wearable length is 18 inches long. The drop / brooch is 3in. and 3.75in. tall. There is no damage and a gorgeous natural patina. The feathered repousse chain links easily unhook to become a brooch. Signed Made in Mexico which indicates made in Mexico City and very early as later Silversmiths signed their names or hallmarks. Tests higher than 925 just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

I know and admire maestro C. Molina's work for its superb craftsmanship and its monumentality but I was still not prepared for this set of stupedying dangle earrings! There is big, there is massive and then, there is the pair of shadowbox stunners I am presenting here tonight...
