This studio piece is composed of curling wire links with roughly finished ends. It is reminiscent of mid-century modern designs, but is a bit later, probably the 1970s. It is unmarked, but tests definitively as sterling silver. The necklace measures 27 1/2 inches long, including the hook closure. Weight: 22.6 grams

A 14K yellow gold gypsy ring with a hand-engraved scrolling motif to the shank on either side of a high-domed cabochon emerald. The emerald is graded as dark vivid green (G7/6) with moderate clarity and color enhancement typical of emeralds. The resulting color contrast with the gold setting is especially attractive, as is the classic tapering shape of the shank. Tested and guaranteed 14K.

A vintage c1910 top-hinged photo locket fob pendant in 14k yellow gold with an inset genuine antique European cut 12 point (by gauge) diamond. The back has an inscription stating: "PRESENTED TO T.A. EATON BY MEMBERS OF PASSENGER DEPT G.T.R. MARCH 1910", and it has a 14K gold mark. The famous Timothy Eaton family of Toronto were involved with the Grand Trunk Railroad at this time - it is most likely that T.A. A very heavy pair of 18K yellow gold stirrup (étrier) cufflinks retailed by famed New York jeweler Olga Tritt. Stirrup (étrier) cufflinks were popularized by Cartier in the 1940s and have appeared in many variations since. This pair is unusual because of the gold mesh sides and the unusual decorative shape of the crossbar. The cufflinks are marked with indistinct French master goldsmith’s marks. A Victorian 10k yellow gold and almandine garnets brooch c1860. This antique 2" x 1/2" brooch in 10k yellow gold with genuine light pink and purplish red almandine garnet gemstones. This pin is typically unmarked and it tests as 10k gold. It has fine tooling and wirework and it has the original c-clasp. It weighs 5.1 grams and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a bit of indenting around the outer edge...

This Fred Davis is properly signed and 15.5 inches long and will catch your eye when walking by. The amethyst stones are berry colored and bright. Even harder to find are nice well formed bezels. The necklace makes a presence with a height of 1 inch. There is no damage or repairs. I will include a safety chain if you prefer to wear it longer. A Victorian 14K yellow gold and coral pendant necklace in the Etruscan Revival taste. The central plaque is enhanced with a pair of natural color coral beads and suspends torpedo drops and a chain swag. The plaque was originally a brooch, but it has been given new life as an elegant necklace! Tested and guaranteed 14K.

This wonderful brooch / pin and pendant is measures 1 3/8" x 1 3/8" x 1 3/8. It has an inner triangle displaying fine, filigree wirework with turquoise stones and has 8 hammered dangling drops. The back is marked ISRAEL STERLING 925. It is beautiful and in excellent condition.

The 3-D design is so beautiful with rhinestones triple layered to resemble flower heads as the focal point of the necklace and earrings. The incredible colors are another reason for the strong attraction. The rhinestones are superb, saturated with color and so bright they mesmerize.

A figural repousse Mexican Deco brooch in sterling silver this "portrait" piece bears the signature of early Mexico City maestro M. Velazquez. Over the years of my love affair with vintage Mexican silver jewelry, I have come to know and appreciate Velazquez's work for its "earthiness", its craftsmanship and the interesting designs he created. The specific "mask" motif I have had a few times in the past in necklace, ring and brooch forms but always anonymous...

Also an embarrassment, since two gemologists can't determine what the stone or the metal might be. However, this is a very beautiful Egyptian Revival piece which ought to be vintage (or even antique) The enigmatic yellow stone does not appear to be glass and the metal tests as 10 k gold, but by this time uncertainty rules! The pin is 2 5/8" overall, and the decorative head is 7/8", so it's large enough to make a statement on your lapel. We think it's circa 1900, but are not sure...
