Maestro Velazquez is one of my favorite early Mexican silversmiths. Based on the hallmarks on his work, he was most probably based in Mexico City and his creations are almost always in the so-called Mexico City style of repousse. Very well made and carefully finished, this figural fish brooch is also characterized by a fun, cartoon-ish air that will put a smile on your face every day of the year...

A stunning Art Nouveau 14K yellow gold pansy pin enameled in rich shades of dark plum, violet, cream and saffron. The jeweler used a matte enamel to suggest the velvety texture of pansy petals. The flower is centered with a prong-set round cut diamond that adds a nice sparkle against the matte enamel. The back of the pin is marked for 14K and also has a maker's mark that we've not seen before...

A wild vintage 1950s-60s glass multistrand spring bangle or bracelet with glass beads. This bracelet is reminiscent of the style of Miriam Haskell, and it has painted gold, yellow/clear paperweight style and white wafer glass beads on spring steel wires. It has unusual drops comprising gold, white and green loaf-shaped beads wired onto a gilt platform mounted on the coils. It measures 1-1/4" across at rest (it will fit much larger wrists) and 3/4" across; the drops extend 1"...

Art Nouveau Gold Tone Amber stick pin with an oval cabochon amber in the center. The top measures 1/2" in diameter and the pin length is 2 7/8", circa 1910. Good vintage condition, Pin with slight bend.

This sleek deco style pendant is from the 1960's and made of 14Kt yellow gold. It is centered by a bezel set 10 X 12 millimeter caboshon oval lapis. The pendant measures 1 3/8" in height and 1 1/8" in width. The weight is 8.5 grams which makes this wonderfully cast pendant relatively heavy for its size. It would look exquisite on any chain as well as on a collar or an Omega necklace.

A vintage Edwardian strand of facetted, graduated amber beads with gold plated wire stringing c1910. This necklace has a hook clasp, the beads measure from 5/8 to 3/8" across, and four of the beads are a darker cola colour than the rest. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a bit of roughness on two tips on the largest dark bead (barely noticeable)...

A heavy pair of Art Deco 14K yellow gold cufflinks, the oval faces simply enhanced with parallel line engraving and joined by an ingenious swivel mechanism. We’ve never before seen this particular form of closure. The faces are slightly convex rather than being entirely flat, thus accounting for the unexpectedly heavy weight. The cufflinks are stamped with “585” for 14K gold and with French import marks...

A sterling silver hammered bangle bracelet by Guglielmo Cini. Probably from when the company was in Boston. Has an Arts and Crafts feel. Even the edges are hammered for a shimmering effect.

Measures 7 7/8" around the inside and 3/8" wide. Weighs 30 Gr, thick sterling.

In very nice condition with a warm patina, and some minor surface scratches and tarnish. Nice weight and well crafted.

A dramatic, well-made sterling silver necklace of beveled links suspending a three-tiered pendant. The pendant is composed of three overlapping linked pieces of graduated size formed as rounded vertical elements with flattened tops and teardrop-shaped flattened ends. The entire piece is linked with securely soldered rings; the hook closure is hand worked. The necklace is not marked; it tests definitively for sterling silver...

Beautiful early vintage Chinese apple jade beaded necklace with a very finely carved and pierced oval element mounted with prongs in a 14KT gold setting with a slide clasp. Circa 1930. Marked 14K and tests positive for 14KT gold. The beads graduate from large to small and back again to large at either end of the center element. 15 inches wearable length and 1 inch wide at the center. The carved gold mounted element is 1 5/8 inches side to side and 1 inch top to bottom...

Fabulous early signed Kenneth J. Lane clip drop earrings in dark goldtone metal with marquise green poured glass stones and rhinestones, with three strands. All stones are prong set. Late 1960s, with the early mark K.J.L., with a period after each initial. 3 1/2 inches long. Excellent condition. Photos enlarged to show detail.

In the 1960s and 1970s, Ciner specialized in costume jewelry inspired by the enameled gold and jeweled figural animal designs of the fine jewelry maker David Webb (these days Roberto Cavalli is the contemporary master of the costume version of this look). A vintage hand made Arts and Crafts period hammered brass brooch by Albert Kahlbrandt, (1878-1961), Hamburg, Germany. Measures 1 3/8" long and 1" across. Marked Handarbeit, Kahlbrandt and Hamburg. Has a 'C' clasp that holds securely. Fine work.

This Victorian Scottish flush fitting agate panel brooch is 1 1/2" in diameter. There are no hallmarks which is fairly normal for brooches of this period.

The stones are orange Campsie Fells jasper, green and red bloodstone from the Isle of rum, deep red carnelian agate from Glenfarg in Perthshire. Fantastic workmanship! C clasp is in good working condition.

An extraordinary pair of Art Deco cufflinks, the faces comprising rectangular black onyx plaques centered with 1/2-carat round brilliant-cut diamonds in collet settings. The ends of the onyx tablets are finished with highly polished rounded platinum shoulders with ridged decoration. This same decorative element appears on the baton backs. The diamonds are of exceptional quality with strong fire. The color is estimated at E/F and the clarity at VVS1...

This beautiful pin measures 1 1/2" x 1 1/4". The two interlocking circles with in fine filigree. The back is marked 1/20 12K G.F. WINARD. It is in excellent condition.

These pair of 14Kt yellow gold and garnet earrings is a 1960-s revival of the Victorian style. The top part of each earring is set with a 3 millimeter round faceted garnet, while the movable bottom part is centered by a 5 millimeter round cabochon garnet. The earrings have French backs for non pierced ears. If needed it would be possible to convert the backs. The length of the earrings is 1 ¼” and the width is 7/16” at the widest part.
