Ca 1940 Here is another early bracelet and necklace with hematite stones created by Laurence Foss, a designer at Georg Jensen. The stones are in perfect condition and the silver has a lovely patina. Both the necklace and bracelet are marked with the Foss stamp Sterling. The bracelet is also marked 416A while the necklace, 416-1/2. The bracelet measures 7" x 3/4"and weighs 25.5 grams; the necklace is 15-1/2" including hook and weighs 33grams. A lovely collector's piece.

Circa 1920 camera shy magnet reacting cut steel sautoir worthy of a jewelry museum or jewelry book and ready for the next movie. This multi metal beaded fluid flapper fringed necklace is a rare find.

Likely Art Deco era 2 1/2" round French pin brooch signed: Monne Ric Limoges. Two ochre sienna pink red blue fish and three yellow / white stars were hand painted with enamel paints onto a green foiled background then finished with a clear glass fired finish. P

Trifari's earliest mark, TFK, is stamped on this rhodium plated brooch. From the 1920's, or more probably the 1930's. Classic Deco design. Unbacked glass saphire colored stone. Brooch is 2 1/2" wide, 1 1/2" high.

These delicate-looking, lacy links are actually form quite a substantial chain necklace. The links have a clever twist, but still lie nicely when worn. A jump ring at the end bears largely illegible marks, but one appears to have a European shape. The chain tests strongly for silver, with a content of at least .800. The spring-ring clasp may have been added later. The chain measures 24 inches long by ½ inch wide. Weight: 27.3 grams

This mid-century Antonio Pineda necklace is a book-piece design, shown with amethysts on p.119 of Silver Seduction. With a wearable length of 16", this is a sleek modernist piece which lays beautifully on the neck. Looks and feels luxurious, with a weight of 152 grams. Signed and hallmarked with the Antonio Taxco crown, eagle assay 2, Mexico 925 AMC. In excellent vintage condition. Width in front is 1 1/2".

If I saw this piece from far away, I would think it's a poison ring - that's how impressive in size and lift its gallery is. Yet not to worry, there is no hidden compartment here and you won't be tempted to become a modern-day Lucrezia Borgia! Beauty and commanding presence, though, yes! There is a lot of that in the sodalite's dark blue depths with their cloudy grey swirls and that river of black cutting across right through the cab's middle...

This is a Vintage 14K bracelet in like new condition. It sat in a safe for decades. It's stamped 14K but because of the rich color it looks like it could be 18k. Has a second stamp we don't recognize (see image). There is an appraisal from 1997 when gold was $350 an oz., that gives it a value of $814. Weighs 18.5 grams and is 7 in length.

Gorgeous vintage translucent rich dark genuine cherry amber necklace with graduated round beads. 1930s. Tested with acetone. It weighs 27 grams. The largest center bead is 13mm and the smallest beads are 6mm. Wearable length is 19 1/8 inches. 1/2 inch wide at center. Excellent condition. A crafty set of three vintage shirt studs with 14 karat yellow gold fox heads accented by ruby eyes. Finely crafted and looking for a shirt to embellish. Measuring 1/2 in x 3/8 in. 4.4 dwt.

Delicate, leafy openwork distinguishes the sterling silver frame of this 1950s pin. It is set with a chrysoprase disk that has a transluscent ‘cobblestone’ pattern when held to the light. Formed as a square panel with rounded corners, featuring an incised seaweed-like design enhanced by oxidation, this Joseph Skinger design is called "Pine Needle." The pin has its original rollover clasp, which is quite secure. It is marked sterling and has Skinger’s script signature. Joseph Skinger was a Vermont studio metalsmith who was most productive during the 1950s and 1960s; he died in 1967. The pin measures a little over 1 3/8 inches square. Weight: 7.5 grams

A pair of Birks sterling rayed circles earrings from the 1940s-50s. This attractive vintage pair of sterling silver screw-back earrings is in the form of rayed concave circles. Margot van Voorhies was married to Antonio Castillo and they opened Los Castillo where Margot became well known for her designs. After a divorce she opened her own taller Margot de Taxco. This is design number 5213 the hearts. You see this design with glass or amethyst centers but this one is a rare sterling dome. The length is 15 inches and is 1 1/8th inches tall. The links are without damage and is properly hallmarked as shown. A treasure of collector quality, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE.

A lovely pair of vintage 18K yellow gold earrings in the classic 1950s combination of diamonds, turquoise and ruby. The cruciform shape and sophisticated use of gemstone colors is very much in the style of Verdura, Chanel and Van Cleef & Arpels pieces of the era. The gold petals are simply enhanced with twisted wire and the diamonds are set in platinum. Each earring is stamped with French gold and platinum hallmarks.

Each earring has three polished silver disks connected to a silver tube. Opposites so frame the face when worn.

This Sterling vermeil 3-D angel with green rhinestone necklace is 2 1/2" long x 1 7/8" at the widest point. The vermeil is very dirty and needs a good polishing.
