Being offered is a rare and fine circa 1965 sterling silver bracelet by Sigfrido ‘SIGI’ Pineda of Taxco, Mexico. Heavy gauge handcrafted silver bracelet in a modern biomorphic design. Sigi, cousin of Los Castillo founder, Antonio Castillo, spent years working with Los Castillo, Salvador Teran, Felipe Martinez, and Margot de Taxco before opening his own shop in 1952. A wonderful and very rare 18K gold brooch set with a reverse intaglio carved crystal ("Essex crystals") depicting a rabbit or hare made for Hermès by their manufacturing jeweler Raymond Drouet. The crystal is set in a frame in the form of a double-barrel shotgun in the break position. The gun's stock is worked in yellow gold, but the barrels, trigger and trigger guard are worked in white gold. The crystal is finely carved and expertly painted in bright colors...

A rare sterling silver and caged raw purple stone brooch by noted MCM jeweler, Arthur King. Probably amethyst. Unmarked, attributed to Arthur King. We have seen the same brooch signed Sterling, King. The raw amethyst is caged in thick and thinner sterling wire and suspended from a thick curved wire.

Measures 1 3/4" across and 2 1/2" tall.

Has a rolling safety clasp that holds securely. Has some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish.

Made of gilded sterling silver, this lovely pin features intricately applied bands to imitate wirework in a scroll design. The pin is set with a pink coral-colored glass cabochon that exhibits minor wear at the very top. It has a very secure C-clasp and is marked sterling on the back. It is conservatively dated to around 1960 (could be earlier), and is possibly Asian. It measures 1 1/8 inches across.

In excellent condition, this vintage 7.5" gold link bracelet is marked "14K" and weighs approximately 33 grams.

A pair of handsome 18K yellow gold cufflinks designed in an Art Nouveau interpretation of Gothic Revival. The heavy pierced front faces are reminiscent of the ornate carved stone bosses at the interesections of the ceiling ribs in a Gothic vaulted ceiling, while the back faces are pure Art Nouveau with whiplash curves. The pairing makes for a very attractive combination. The backs of the faces and the chains are stamped with French 18K marks.

Usually referred to as irreverent and whimsical Hubert Harmon was a native of Illinois yet studied at the Parson's School of Design in Paris. In the 1940s, he and his wife Louise settled for a few years in Mexico where Hubert opened a workshop in Taxco and created some of the most interesting designs in the world of vintage Mexican silver jewelry. A lover of parties, poodles and all creatures winged and mythical, he seems to have found inspiration in the country's folk art as well...

This finely crafted Edwardian 2-3/4 x 1-5/8" brooch features fine filigree wirework with applied decoration and ball dangles; it has a genuine bezel-set garnet stone as well. An extremely fine and rare Georgian 12K gold bracelet featuring a large rectangular plaque of landscape agate flanked by seven smaller rectangular plaques. With only a little imagination, the central panel appears to represent a grouping of trees in front of distant mountains, while the smaller plaques seem more like tree-covered islands in a calm lake...
