This past year seems to have been a Carmen Beckmann year for One Good Eye Silver. And even though I cannot claim it was because of planning, it has not been entirely out of luck either. A whimsical brooch made of one layer of 950 silver and two layers of Faux Tortoise Shell in the shape of a fish. Has silver inlay for the eye. Measures 2 1/2" long and 1 7/8" high. Has a rollover safety clasp which holds securely. Marked 950 AR on the clasp. Has some minor scratches and tarnish. Fun design.

This nifty, solid charm is 3D and stands 7/8" tall. The diameter of the bottom is 3/8". It has a great likeness to the decorative bottle of the smooth, dry, red wine. It is marked (what looks like) J2 AR and 800.

A nice quality and heavy 18K gold watch key enhanced with black enamel and seed pearls suspending a pair of foxtail chain tassels and a dog clip clasp. This was originally the cross bar and fob attachments for a Victorian watch chain. Stunning 1930s Art Deco riviere necklace in silvertone metal with large brilliant bezel set openback faceted glass crystal stones. Marked GERMANY. The stones are held by prongs at the front. The backs of the bezels are decorated with a finely detailed flower form motif. The stones have pointed backs. Spring ring clasp. Wearable length is 16 1/2 inches and the stones and settings are 7/16 inch or 12mm. Excellent condition. Some tiny flea bites on some stones; most are only visible with a loupe...

Look at that face! The ethnographic faces on this Silver Bracelet marked: MEXICO STERLING EME and assay 83, a listed silversmith, could be of the god Totec of Aztec fame? A very pre Columbian Aztec idol motif. Reminding one of a book piece....

Here is a wonderful, well made gold plate necklace that could almost pass for 18K. A solid piece, it is marked MONET, measures 3/8" x 18" and weighs 52 grams.

A very interesting pair of 18K yellow gold double-sided cufflinks by Tiffany & Co. The cufflinks were made in France and were available only in Tiffany’s Paris boutique. Each face is formed as a square knot instead of the more traditional knots often seen in cufflinks. The solid connectors are marked with French 18K hallmarks and also “Tiffany & Co.”

A sterling silver hand wrought cuff bracelet by the noted Chicago mid century modernist jeweler, Nita Lustig. Has a curved sterling wire overlay and three protruding disks.

Measures about 5 3/8" around with an additional 1 1/8" for the gap. Could be adjusted slightly. Measures 1" wide. Marked Sterling and Lustig.

Very nice condition with some minor scratches and a little tarnish. You can see slight indentations on the opposite side of where the marks were stamped...

A vintage 1920’s oval shell cameo depicting a young lady with flowers in her hair and a heart shaped necklace with a 0.03Ct single cut diamond set in a 14kt white gold filigree frame. The cameo is a broach with a fold down swivel that makes it wearable as a pendant. The cameo measures 48 X 36 millimeters and the measurements of the broach are 1 ¾” wide and 2 1/16” high.

A very pretty pierced wedding band depicting rose gold Tudor roses alternating with yellow gold clusters of cherries. Each rose is centered with a synthetic ruby. This wonderfully interesting ring is 5.75 in size and is made of 10K gold. The front has a swirled shape with 4 graduating, colored stones (ball-shaped). The inside of the band is marked 10K and has a maker's mark of an S inside a pentagon. Its truly unusual and in excellent condition.

An elegant solid bangle bracelet worked in 14K yellow gold. The bangle has pierced foliate motif, and is set with sapphires and diamonds. This elegant pin was made by the very collectible Bippart, Griscomb & Osborn Co. of Newark, NJ (an important hub of Art Nouveau jewelry making c. 1900). It is centered by a turquoise cab, with two freshwater pearls on each side (4 in total), framed by a twisted ribbon of 14kt gold.
