An extremely rare pair of 18K yellow gold and citrine cufflinks by the mid-century Brazilian jewelry designers Roberto and Haroldo Burle Marx. The Burle Marx brothers were particularly know for their use of colored gemstones fashioned in the "forma livre" (free-form) style. Haroldo invented the technique of carving and tumbling forma livre stones in 1948, and the style of the swivel mechanism suggests that the cufflinks are relatively early—probably around 1955...

An ancient real antique Bronze brass or gold ring with Buddhism or Hinduism symbols

A vintage Art Deco 2-5/8 x 1-1/8" sapphire crystal and white rhinestone brooch c1920. This pin has white metal mounts and a safety catch; it is unsigned and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor yellowing to some of the stones. A fine pair of heavy 18K yellow gold cufflinks in the “horsebit” (“mors de filet”) style. The visible surfaces are covered in rich dark green translucent enamel overlaid with a yellow gold ropetwist motif. When being worn, only the enameled discs are visible. Each cufflink is marked “France/18K”.

Origin: France, ca. 1980. Condition: excellent, one cufflink has a superficial enamel nick visible only under 10x magnification. Weight: 13.5 grams.

A nice Victorian 14K yellow gold watch fob in the form of a pair of dolphin-like fish facing one another. The bodies are scaly and they have ornate flowing gills in the classical manner. The oval seal is engraved with a four-letter monogram and also T. E. Co. 1918. The fob retains its original reeded jump ring. Tested and guaranteed 14K.

This lovely, Scandinavian, sterling silver pin is by the Danish silversmith Evald Nielsen. It is marked "EN" (maker's mark), "STERLING SILVER 925." It has a C-catch and measures 1 1/8" x 1". It is in excellent condition.

A tailored, simply elegant design is this 18Kt white and yellow gold mid century modern stylized ribbon ring. Each half is identical to the other except for the one side is 18Kt yellow gold while the other side is 18Kt white gold. The ring is a size 6 and can be sized.

Wrought in .900 silver which Matilde Poulat used in the early period of her career this stunning silver repousse brooch develops around a carved black onyx “mask”. Matl’s work is always impressive - no one could ever blame her creations for timidity - but it seems to me that the repoussage of her first years is even bolder...

This lovely stanhope (in silver tone) measures 1 1/2" x just under 1". The viewer shows a woman in prayer and has The Lord's Prayer in full. The view is excellent: extremely clear and legible. The cross is decorated with pave-set, colorless rhinestones (some minor yellowing to rhinestones). Also in the viewer it reads MADE IN FRANCE.

This is a vintage Mexican silver signed Patino bracelet and necklace set with color changing alexandrite glass stones. When any Patino designs turn up I want them all! The work is always done in exceptionally heavy silver and the details are hand carved. The stones on the bracelet are .50in. high and the link is .78in. wide. The length of the bracelet is 7in. and the weight is 61 grams. The necklace is 17in. long with a hefty weight of 96.5 grams...

A collection of antique Ethiopian silver jewels, most of them Coptic Christian crosses. There is also a digit finger ring for a lady, and an ear spoon. Old Ethiopian silver, like these crosses, usually has a very high silver content, but is not hall marked. However, all these items have been tested for a silver content of at least 925 /1000.
