Swiss brooch, ca 1880. Oval enameled plaque in gold frame; rim comprises applied scrolls heightened with enamel and inset with pearls.

The plaque depicts the Château de Chillon, a medieval castle set on an island in Lake Geneva, with Mont Blanc in the background. Chillon was a source of inspiration to the English Romantics, especially Lord Byron whose Prisoner of Chillon was inspired by its use as a prison during the 16th-century Wars of Religion...

A vintage hand made Arts and Crafts period hammered silver pendant by Albert Kahlbrandt, (1878-1961), Hamburg, Germany.

Possibly 800 silver, there is a tiny touch mark on the front near the top.

Pendant measures 2 1/4" long and 1 1/2" across. Marked Handarbeit, Kahlbrandt and Hamburg and the number 8. Mark is partially obscured by extra solder, not sure why it is there.

Chain measures 10" long on each side. Has a spring clasp that holds securely.

Finely carved brooch of the goddess Demeter (Roman: Ceres), goddess of agriculture, her hair wrapped in what appears to be a scarf of grain or corn. The important Greek goddesses were a popular theme in cameo carvings of the 19th century, with Demeter arguably the most important because of her association with fertility and the harvest, or sustenance...

A mid century modern necklace with a large pendant in pewter by Lysgards in Denmark. Pendant has a brutalist texture with a rough cut amethyst geode. Marked Made in Denmark, Lysgards Design, Tin and 93. Measures 4" long to the top of the bale and 1 7/8" across. Original chain is a paper clip style with a toggle clasp. Measures 24" long. In nice condition with some minor tarnish and scratches. Cool mod design!

A very intricate silverwork buckle by straits Chinese silversmith, with the flora pattern and tiny figurines in it , with belt

A nice Victorian 14K yellow gold locket, the front cover enhanced with a three-dimensional Scottish halberd (a medieval battle axe) applique set with rose cut diamonds and a Persian turquoise cabochon. The Scottish halberd was a distinctive sort of battle axe developed in Scotland in the late 16th century which eventually came to be associated with ceremonial use by the Scottish nobility...

Circa mid-century, these earrings produced by Hector Aguilar are rarely seen. Each earrings has five turquoise cabochons with tiny silver beading and silver loops. They remind me of baskets of turquoise flowers with handles. They are in excellent vintage condition and are collector quality. They measure 13/16" x 11/16". Weight is 11.8 grams. Signed and hallmarked with the flared "HA", ".940 Taxco", and the eagle assay 9.

An interesting pair of Sterling Silver dangle screw back earrings with rose quartz caged stones. The cage part is reminiscent of the work of Arthur King.

Measure 1 3/4" long and 7/8" at the widest. Screw backs hold securely. Marked Sterling on the back of each screw back.

Lots of movement when worn. Pretty rose color. Warm patina. Well crafted unusual design.

A handsome pair of French Art Deco cufflinks, the faces worked in platinum centering sugarloaf cabochons of moonstone surrounded by rose cut diamonds. The moonstones have matte finish more often used with rock crystal, and the underlying, bright, billowy adularescence creates a very attractive effect. At some point, 18K white gold backs and connecting chains were added...

This iconic masterpiece is the work of Antonio Pineda. It's a necklace which draws attention immediately to the wearer. Circa mid-century, executed in 970 silver, this lays perfectly upon the neck. Ten moonstone cabochons dangle from scalloped silver links, sitting in silver open-backed bezels. The stones glow from within - really beautiful moonstones...

A large copper, brass and silver cuff bracelet from Casa Maya with two large stylized birds. Measures about 6" around with an opening of 1 1/4" and 2 1/2" tall. In nice condition, has some minor surface scratches. A little out of round, some wear to the edges and some tarnish. Signed Maya Mexico. Looks striking on!
