A very attractive pair of vintage 18K yellow gold star earrings by Tiffany & Co. The stars are slightly pulled out of shape, so the design has a sense of movement, and the legs are slightly faceted for a little extra shine. A terrific pair of earrings in the form of round shakudo plaques set in 14K yellow gold borders. Each of the matching Meiji-period discs features a Japanese immortal or scholar along with a fearsome dragon. Details of the dragon’s scales and fins and the man’s staff are picked out in gold and copper highlights. The gold borders are simply decorated with a ropetwist motif. The earwires are later additions. Tested and guaranteed 14K gold.

Originally, this was the largest of a set of 3 graduated matching silver necklaces. They were worn as a set for festival by the Miao Chinese Ethnic Minority women. The necklace was skillfully hand-formed from a sheet of silver into a curving tapered tube with a reposse pattern of 2 dragons chasing pearl. It spans 10.5 inches across.

This whimsical fob is a sailor's hand-carved whale bone ivory fist, a common motif during the Victorian Period. The fob is comprised of a beautifully detailed hand with pointed index finger. Here is an English-made whistle of copper-plated brass and base metal, that may have been made for the U.S. market. The front is labeled ‘The Acme/Boy Scouts’ with the English registration number for 1914, and ‘Patent’ underneath. A handsome dress set comprising a pair of cufflinks and three shirt studs. The 14K yellow gold faces have geometric decoration and feature bead-set round brilliant-cut diamonds. The bracelet measures 7" around the inside and 7/8" wide at the back. Measures 2 1/2" across the inside. The front section measures 2 1/4" long, 1 7/8" across and 1 1/4" high off the band. Has a secure box clasp.
