A fine pair of Edwardian 18K yellow gold cufflinks, the faces designed as pairs of coiled snakes. Two of the snakes have an old European cut diamond set into its head, while the other two have a round emerald. In Victorian symbology, the coiled snake represented eternity, and a pair of snakes coiled together suggested “eternal love.” The snaked as attached by chains to baton backs worked in a twisted motif, itself suggestive of the coiled snakes...

This late 19th-century gunmetal chain has both length and strength, with a bold, stunning look. It features a secure spring-ring clasp and a glossy, blue-black finish, produced by electroplating a coating of iron over a white metal. A lovely stylized flower basket pendant featuring flowers set with diamond, emerald and sapphire centers. The surrounding foliage is worked in a mix of glossy and stippled finishes to add depth and detail. The gemstones are of very good quality, with vivid color saturation and good clarity. This lovely, sterling silver, Mexican, well-crafted bracelet displays a very colorful, large, faux fire opal on each ornate link. It is 6 3/4" long. Each link measures approximately 1 1/8" x 1". It is sterling silver and marked on the clasp: STERLING MEXICO 925, and, in a circle on the back of one of the links: TAXCO HECHO EN MEXICO with the "spread eagle" assay mark in the middle. Each link is slightly convex, adorned with a vivid, faux opal cabochon. It is in excellent condition.

Priced to go is this 14Kt white gold diamond and sapphire engagement ring. The three stone ring is centered by a 1.03Ct brilliant cut diamond that has K color and I1 clarity. The two 5.5 millimeter round faceted natural sapphires weigh approximately 1,75Ct. The ring is a size 6 ¼ and can easily be sized.

An attractive 800 silver and Baltic amber ring, the oval cabochon amber in a silver setting reminiscent of Jensen’s designs from the 1930s. The amber is natural has not been quench-crackled. The back of the shank is signed with an unidentified maker’s mark and has Polish hallmarks for 800 silver.

A hand carved chrome plated over brass shell cameo c1920s. Amethyst? No. Glass. Gold? No. Gold fill. Do those facts mean this lavalier is any less lovely? No! This charming lavalier is both antique and eye-catching. The stone is amethyst-colored glass and the metal is gold-fill. The lavalier is not marked, but the 20" gold-filled chain bears the maker's mark for Bates & Bacon. The lavalier is 1 1/8 X 3/4", not including the fresh-water pearl dropper. Circa 1900.

This interesting openwork bronze pin is formed as a stylized horse and is based on ancient Nordic design. It has a lacquered finish to preserve the surface color of the bronze. The back has a secure curled C-clasped and the mark of Finnish maker Koravala Koru. The name of Suomussalmi, a region in Finland, is inscribed on the back as well. The pin measures 2 inches long by about 1 ¾ inches high at the ear.

This beautiful ring is just under a size 6 (perhaps 5.75). It has a lovely foliate design topped off 3 flowers with prong set, very colorful opals inside. The band is marked 10K and MCO with a maker's mark with which I am unfamiliar. It has good heft and is in excellent condition.

These stylish 14Kt yellow gold cabochon emerald and diamond earrings date back to the 1950-s. The 6 millimeter cabochon emeralds in the center are prong set and each earring is decorated on the edge by six single-cut diamonds. The approximate total weight of the two emeralds is 2.5 Ct and the twelve diamonds approximate weight is 0.18 Ct. The earrings have omega (clip) backs, but a post can be added on request.

An elegant gilt sterling silver oval brooch by Kirk in the "Repousse" pattern. Kirk made a range of jewelry in this pattern but only a few were then gilt. With the addition of a bail to the back, this pin would make a very striking vertical pendant. The back is stamped with Kirk's hallmark from the 1932-61 period.

A Mexican silver & brass discs sterling bracelet from 1970-80. This really stylish vintage Mexican 925 sterling silver hinged-link bracelet has inserted brass discs. It weighs 40.1 grams and it is 13/16" at its widest and it is 2-3/8" x 1-7/8" across the interior walls. It is stamped EM 925 TA-18, it has a box clasp, and it is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

A much understated tailored design is this estate diamond band from the 1970-s. The 14Kt yellow gold band is topped by five G color brilliant cut diamonds with the total weight of 0.26Ct. The diamonds are set individually in an S design channel. The weight and color of diamonds are clearly marked inside the band. The band is a size 6 ¾ and can easily be sized.

Spratling described this stunning design as "a wide Aztec bracelet with framed buttons" according to Goddard's spratlingsilver.com. It was one of Spratling's most popular designs in the 1930's - 1940's and still is today. Weighing 185 grams, the bracelet measures 2" high at the front with 1 1/8" opening at the back. The interior measures 2 1/2" across the inside. The bracelet is in beautiful condition with an aged patina. The design is also referred to as River of Life bracelet.

Formed in the shape of coral-like branches and set with what appears to be a gray pearl, this delicate sterling silver pin was made by Otto Robert Bade of New Hope, PA. Bade was a prominent designer for Francisco Rebajes, and purchased the company in 1958 from. Bade renamed the firm Orb, which ended production in 1971. The pin is marked ‘Orb’ on the reverse and is secured with a safety clasp. It measures 2 inches long by 1 1/4 inches wide.

A pair of fine shakudo ornaments originally mounted in Victorian times as a pair of cuff buttons, and then re-imagined by our jeweler as an elegant split-chain pendant necklace. The two plaques feature a court lady and gentleman in Meiji-period costume. After the collapse of the feudal Samurai system in Imperial Japan, Europeans collected old sword and armor fittings such as these to set as jewelry. The mountings and chain are 14K.
