A magnificent pair of signed Mikimoto earrings featuring 13.75 mm mabe pearls in 18K yellow gold twisted knot settings accented with diamonds. The pearls are of the finest quality, estimated at AA. They have cream body color and extraordinary cream body color with rose overtones and superb luster. Composed of flattened square links with rounded corners, this Scandinavian bracelet is classic, with a modernist edge. It's well constructed, with connecting rings that are securely soldered closed and a hook clasp. It shows marks for the assay city of Lahti and the year 1971; there is an unidentified maker’s mark of ANR. The bracelet measures 7 ¾ inches long and 5/8 inch wide. Weight: 12.2 grams

This lovely ring is adjustable in size. Its classic Taxco Mexico design is topped off with an onyx bezel-set stone in the center. It is marked TAXCO MEXICO 925 in a circle with the artist's initials in the middle APF. The other mark is the "spread eagle" assay with the number 3 in the middle. This great ring is excellent condition.

A vintage modernist pendant by Jens Ib. Bluitgen, who was head of the design workshop of Georg Jensen from 1953-1961 before going out on his own. Made in Denmark. Three lightly hammered sterling curved shields with an oxidized dark patina suspended from a sterling heart shaped neck ring.

The pendant is marked 925S for Sterling, IB for the maker and Denmark. Measures 4" long and 1 1/8" at the widest. The pendant has some minor wear to the finish on the front and tarnish on the back...

Hard to find design.

A seamless marriage of sterling silver and golden sheen obsidian celebrate Enrique Ledesma's creative genius in this set of modernist Mexican earrings. Much published and avidly sought after, the design can be found with various semi-precious and hard stones or, as in our case, housing polished, glistening pieces of volcanic glass. And if you are not so keen on screw-back findings, you are in luck with these as they are actually clip-ons...

This extremely exciting and entertaining piece is circa 1970s. It is slightly convex. The back is marked with the eagle number 20, STERLING. It is also marked HECHO EN MEXICO DF, 925 and a maker's mark that resembles conjoined letters - see pictures. The pin / brooch has a diameter of 1 5/8". This is quite an unusual piece, has good heft and is in excellent condition.

A modernist sterling silver brooch with a black orb by Sigi Pineda. The orb may be onyx.

Measures 2 7/8" long and almost 1/2" at the widest. Marked on the back Sigi Tasco, Hecho en Mexico, Sterling, 81, and Eagle #3. Also marked with what looks like design number 304.

Safety rollover clasp holds securely. In very nice condition. Has a little tarnish and minor surface scratches.

A rare example.

This very elegant amethyst and diamond estate cluster ring is centered by a 16 X 12 millimeter oval faceted amethyst with an approximate weight of 10 carats. The center stone is surrounded by two rows of prong set round diamonds. The approximate total weight of all 64 diamonds is 0.64Ct. The ring is a size 8 and can be easily sized.

A mid-century Los Castillo Mexican silver and stone inlay belt buckle, this is a piece out the workshop's "onix negro" series. I have said before that the specific technique is a challenging one both for the silversmith and the lapidary as the stone has to be cut exactly to the dimensions of the silver elements that will be inlaid in it...

This elegant pair of vintage 14Kt yellow gold earring has a tailored look. The posts and omega backs not only make the earrings sit well on the ears but the combination makes it secure as well. The earrings measure 7/8” by 5/8”.

This very stylish 18Kt yellow and white gold bow pin was made in Italy in the 1960-s. The two different colors of gold have two different finishes, and the center is accented by three single cut diamonds. The height of the pin is 2 ¼” and the width at the widest part is 2 ¼”.

Maestro Mateo is mostly known for his brutalist rings and his work spans the 1980 divide. Most of his pieces that were made after 1980 are wrought in 950 silver, which almost became the norm in Mexican jewelry during that period...

This gorgeous, glistening Hagler set has everything: tiny iridescent blue and pearl colored glass beads, huge royal blue crystals, clear rhinestones and faceted iridescent crystals. The overall effect is sparkling and stunning! The necklace has a double level gilt filigree backing with the Hagler oval name plate on the pendant. The pendant and one earring are marked Stanley Hagler NYC. The necklace is 18 1/2" end to end. Pendant is 2 1/2" in diameter. Earrings are 1 1/4" square.

A bronze pendant and probably copper chain by Hannu Ikonen of Finland in the iconic Reindeer Moss design. Pendant measures almost 2" long including the bale and 1 1/2" across. Marked Made in Finland on the back of the pendant. Chain measures 27" long and has a hook closure. Nice warm patina. We have the matching clip earrings in another listing. Will combine shipping.

If I saw this piece from far away, I would think it's a poison ring - that's how impressive in size and lift its gallery is. A 14Kt yellow gold stylish broach, that is a life-like rendering of a flying Tropicbird. The broach measures 2 5/16” wide and 2 5/16”, high as well.

Amethyst and seed pearl pendant/enhancer is set in 14Kt yellow gold. The 18 X 13 millimeter oval faceted amethyst bezel set in the center is encircled by seed pearls. A maestro from the middle period of Mexico's 20th c. Silver Renaissance, Carsi is among those Taxco silversmiths about whom we don't really know much. I have had pieces by him a few times over the years and I was pleasantly surprised to have found his signature on the ornate bangle bracelet presented here. This wire-work scrolled heart motif I am used to associating with Arte en Plata, even though I have seen it by other makers or even anonymous in the past...

This pale green carved jade pendant with 14Kt gold findings depicts a woman figure. The jade piece is drilled through from top to bottom and measures 2 5/8’ high and 5/8” at the widest.
