A sterling silver modernist pendant necklace in a cubes design by Danish silversmith, Niels Erik (NE) From. Pendant is made up of 4 cubes connected to a thick wire with a sterling 'pearl' at the top. Marked From 925S on the hook shaped bale. Pendant measures about 2 1/4" long and 3/4" across. Also measures 3/16" thick. Pendant is in fine condition.

Currently suspended from a 28" sterling snake chain. Clasp is marked 925 and holds securely. In nice condition with some tarnish...

This gorgeous, glistening Hagler set has everything: tiny iridescent blue and pearl colored glass beads, huge royal blue crystals, clear rhinestones and faceted iridescent crystals. The overall effect is sparkling and stunning! The necklace has a double level gilt filigree backing with the Hagler oval name plate on the pendant. The pendant and one earring are marked Stanley Hagler NYC. The necklace is 18 1/2" end to end. Pendant is 2 1/2" in diameter. Earrings are 1 1/4" square.

A sleek modernist hammered sterling silver neck ring and matching cuff bracelet by Swedish jewelry maker Alton. Neck ring measures approximately 10 1/4" around with an opening of 2 3/4". Measures 3/4" at the widest. Could be adjusted somewhat. Marked Alton, F for the city mark, Swedish silver standard, Y9, (date code for 1973), Sterling 925. The cuff bracelet measures 6 1/4" around with an opening of 1". Measures 1 1/4" at the widest part. Could also be adjusted slightly...

An eye catching, substantial gold plate bracelet marked SAL. A thick chain attaches each section and there is light wear (spotting) on the back of the bracelet.The bracelet does not lie perfectly flat and measures 7" x 1/2".

A vintage modernist sterling silver cuff bracelet by Hans Hansen, designed by the Georg Jensen designer, Allan Scharff in his Alliance line. Made from three thick curved overlapping sterling wires.

Measures about 6 1/2" around with an opening of 1 1/4". Measures 1 1/2" wide across the front. May be able to be adjusted by a jeweler.

Huge copy of one of the most famous brass and copper cuffs bracelets by modernist ART SMITH, probably c.1980's. Unsigned, it measures 5" by 9 3/4" outside circumference and 2 1/2" diameter at openings. Crudely made, it does not have the fine craftsmanship of Art Smith. The soldering at the back of the brass wire has solder showing connecting the wires. Otherwise, it's in excellent condition. The ART SMITH cuff appears in "Messengers of Modernism" p.92.......$14 for insured USA shipping.

A modernist ring by Lapponia in sterling silver, 'Erosion'. Has a light purple cast similar to the Flame finish seen on bronze pieces.

Marked with the Lapponia Hallmark, 925, Finnish silver standard mark, and X7, the date code for 1975.

The front of the ring measures 1 1/4" long. Ring is a size 6.5-7. May be able to adjust slightly due to the open nature of the design.

The first one is a three dimensional sterling silver brooch in what looks like a pair of smiling lips. This brooch measures 2 3/8" across and 1/2" high. Fine condition, has minor tarnish.

A vintage sterling silver modernist pendant and necklace by Hans Sten and Karl Laine from Sten and Laine in Finland. Pendant reminds us of an abstract spiderweb. Pendant measures 3 1/8" long to the top of the bale and 2 1/8" at the widest. Chain is attached at the bale and closes with a spring clasp that holds tightly. Chain measures about 17" around. Marked on the bale with the hallmark for Sten and Laine, 925H for sterling, Town mark for Turku and T7 for 1972. Very nice condition...

A fine vintage modernist design sterling silver ring by Hermann Siersbol of Denmark c1970. This (currently) size 6-1/2 adjustable ring measures 3/4" in length and it is heavy and well made. It is in excellent used condition with no losses, dents, monograms, corrosion, repairs or damage. It is stamped 925S and SIERSBOL. A wonderful Danish Skonvirke sterling silver brooch signed SJ for S. L. Jacobsen. Jacobsen was a silversmith who collaborated with Evald Nielsen, a well known jewelry designer known for his Skonvirke designs. Measures 2 1/2" long and 2" at the widest. Has two green stone cabochons. Marked 830S SJ 830S on the back. Beautiful Arts and Crafts design. Has an older 'C' clasp. Very nice condition, one minor ding near the edge of the top piece. Quality piece. Beautiful classic Danish design.

Two pair of vintage sterling silver earrings by Hans Hansen, Denmark are available.

The first pair has a more traditional design. They measure 1 1/8" long and 3/4" wide. Marked with the script Hans Hansen signature, Denmark, 925S and style #422. The clips hold securely. Have a warm patina.

The second pair are round with raised domes surrounded by oxidized silver...

The Nordic-style pendant is suspended from a cable chain with two large rings and no clasp. The back of the pendant bears the maker’s mark of Kalevala Koru, of Helsinki, Finland. It also shows the mark for the year 1971. The pendant measures 4 inches long, including the bail, and 2 inches wide; including the doubled chain, the entire necklace measures a little over 17 inches long. Weight: 26.8 grams

Marked From 925S. Measures about a size 7. In nice condition with some minor scratches and nicks to the edges of the back of the shank. Not very noticeable when worn. It may need a bit of cleaning but we will leave that to the new owner. Looks like it may have been resized by a previous owner. The ball sits 1/2" off the finger.

A pair of modernist pendants in 830 silver designed by Jorma Laine for Kultateollisuus Ky of Turku Finland. May be purchased together or individually.

The larger pendant, made up of interconnected circles with a curved in central disk, measures 2 3/4" long including the bale and 1 5/8" wide. Looks like a stylized cross. Pendant is marked 830S for the Finnish silver standard, and Finland.

The ring measures about a size 7 but is adjustble. Top measures 3/4" across. Marked with the hallmark for Sten and Laine, Three Crown mark for Finland, 925, Town mark for Turku, V7 for 1974 and Finland. Has KL on the side for Karl Laine. Very nice condition.

Measures about 3 1/8" long including the bale and 7/8" across.

Marked with the Anvil, and 925S and Finland on the back. Also looks like there is a stamp 'S1B' which we don't know the reference to. Has some very minor surface scratches. Has a larger bale so could be worn on a chain or neck ring.

This pin has heft and presence, with a compelling design by Uni David-Andersen for the David-Andersen workshop. It resembles lattice work in its construction, but the irregular lengths of the ribs give it a primitive feel. The pin has a secure roll-over clasp and measures 2 inches long by 5/8 inches wide. Weight: 9 grams

Silver pendant and chain by Karl Laine, Finnfeelings, one of his Spider Web designs from around 1970. Mark for Finnfeelings, 925H, A for the town of Åbo / Turku, T7 for 1972 and Swedish import mark (three crowns and S). Diameter "1 2/5 / 3.3 cm, length of chain "24 ½ / 62 cm. Condition: fine.

Measures 2" across and 2" high. Has a rollover clasp that holds securely. Marked with 925 for the silver standard, NW for the maker, the National Mark and Date Code U7 for 1973.

In fine condition, very intricate and detailed. Dark patina. Weighs 19 gr. Wonderful example of modernist Scandinavian design.

Great architecturally designed silver and amethyst handmade pin by Kasityo, Finland, 1965. There are 2 different silver finishes - flat and grainy - that work together well. The piece is signed "KASITYO JOSE (CROWN IN HEART)FINLAND 813H(silver content) M7(1965) ANCHOR symbol made in Lahti(city) and is in excellent condition. The handmade lock is decorative and lovely. Dragon brooch in the Viking style, the fable animal copied from the superbly elegant 12th century wood carvings on the portal of Urnes stave church in Norway, now on the Unesco World Heritage list. Measures 2 1/8" long, 1 1/8" at the widest and 1/2" at the deepest. Currently strung on a silken cord but due to the large bale could be worn on a thick chain or neck ring.

A bold, modernist solid sterling silver ring by the noted Danish jewelry designer, Jens Asby. Measures between a 6.5 and 7. Front measures 5/8" wide and 1" across. Marked with the JA in a shield, Denmark, Hand Made and 925S. Has a few minor dings and surface scratches. Feels like you are wearing something special when you have it on! Great design.

This Joseff set is elegantly simple and simply elegant---and oh so wearable. It is done in the semi matte finish referred to as Russian gold. This finish is the one for which Joseff is known. The brooch is signed Joseff, an early signature later changed to Joseff of Hollywood. I believe this is a later set produced when the company reissued some early pieces. The brooch is 4 7/8" long, 3" wide. The clip earrings are 2 1/4" long and 1 3/4" wide. The brooch has the Joseff signature.

This is a wonderfully long necklace from Miriam Haskell. The necklace measures 58 1/2 inches (148.6 cm) in length. Worn as single strand or wrapped in coils this is a beautifully colored faux stone bead necklace for everyday wear.
