This charming pin is the embodiment of Victorian design. A very stylized butterfly perches on a row of 'gold' ball-shaped dangles. The butterfly is centered with a colorless brilliant, and flanked by small ruby pastes at each side. As was common at the time in the Victorian era, a matching stickpin acts as a safety feature as well as being pretty. The pin is a generous 1 1/2" and is gold filled. There is a maker's mark PC Co. This plique a jour pendant is centered with an oval white opal and accented with eight colorless brilliants. The dropper is a fresh water pearl. The translucent enamel is an unusual and lovely blue in color. Plique a jour, that unusual, difficult, and beautiful technique, dates from the 15th century. It was used by Cellini, then revived in the late 1800s in France. The metal frame in this lovely piece is 900 silver, suggesting that the piece is most likely German or Austrian in origin...

Huge and bold, vintage sterling " Armadillo " belt buckle by Hector Aguilar. It consists of 5 panels held together by rivets and measures a very impressive 6 1/4" by 2 3/4". Coral has been used in jewelry for thousands of years. It has been called Sea Garden because of its resemblance to a plant. Coral is used as protection from negativity and evil, and to dispel feelings of inner weakness. This pin is 14k gold and holds a coral branch. It is Victorian in age and has maker's mark, BML. The pin is 2" X 1/2". Circa 1860.

This barrette is sure to attract admiring attention. The flowing, sinuous lines are SO Art Nouveau, and it's an unusual piece. It has a maker's mark which looks like the K used by Kohn & Company, a Newark, NJ manufacturer of gold jewelry. The company used the K mark in 1922 and 1931 advertisements

This 14 k Art Nouveau watch pin features a lady in profile. Her curving, golden tresses frame her face. The pin is 1 1/2" X 1" in size. It has a old style lever safety clasp and is marked 14k. Circa 1900.

This lovely little Art Nouveau watch pin is 14 k gold. The central flower is red enamel and leaves are enameled in green fading to yellowish green. It's pretty and colorful accent for any outfit. Two graceful curves of gold beneath the flower are set with eight seed pearls of graduated sizes. The pin is 3/4" by 1" in size and is dates from Circa 1900.

This lovely pin is 14 k gold. The very Victorian motif of hearts on a crescent is outlined in seed pearls. It is hallmarked but the mark is incomplete; the marks for Birmingham and England are present, along with an unidentified mark. There is no date stamp but the 2" wide pin appears to be circa 1890.

A beautiful tufa cast ring with mosaic inlay of various stones including turquoise and coral by Harold Lovato of Santo Domingo Pueblo. Active from the 70's until his death in 1997, Harold Lovato designs are always unique and interesting.

A wonderfully made 14Kt yellow gold sapphire and diamond ring/band is centered by 7 channel –set natural blue sapphires. On either side of the sapphires there are 7 channel-set brilliant cut diamonds. The approximate total weight of all sapphires is 0.50Ct while the approximate total weight of all 14 diamonds is 0.20Ct. The width of the tapered ring is 8.5 millimeter on top and 2.5 millimeter on the bottom. The ring is a size 7 and can easily be sized.

If this gorgeous ring fit me, I'd be keeping it. (Of course it could be resized. Hmmm. ☺) The design is surprisingly modern but it is genuinely pre 1900. Two faceted rubies are set off by three seed pearls, with each gem surrounded by a square bezel. It has English hallmarks for Chester [England], 1865-6, and 15 carat gold, as well as a maker's mark of BHJ. The ring is a size 7.

This splendid Victorian brooch is an example of the Egyptian Revival style. It is silver gilt with a polychrome enamel winged pharaoh. The old style of the tube hinge and C clasp date it as prior to 1900. tube hing. It is marked 800 (for silver content) and has an indecipherable maker's mark. The pin is 1 1/4 " X 5/8". There is a small crack in the enamel of one feather. It is 19th century in age.
