An interesting hand made abstract reticulated pendant with an oval bezel set green stone. The top piece swings on the inverted 'U' shaped silver wire.

Measures 2 1/8" high and 1 3/8" at the widest. 20" chain is marked 900 and closes with a secure spring clasp. The pendant and chain have some tarnish.

This Los Castillo is one designed by Margot Van Voorhies when married to Don Antonio Castillo that unhooks and also doubles as a brooch. The matching chain and the drop is repousse and hand carved on top. The drop / brooch measures 3.75 inches tall with a width at it's widest point of 2 1/8th inches. There is a generous wearable length of 17 in. The early hallmarked Los Castillo designs are the best and this is one of those that is seldom found. Properly hallmarked with no damage or repairs...

A striking late Victorian 14K yellow gold crucifix set with sapphires, an old European cut diamond and seed pearls. The diamond is graded at I/SI2 and the sapphires are finely colored and show no indication of heat treatment. A fine early French Art Nouveau orchid brooch, the flower petals carved from banded agate around old mine cut diamond stamens, all set atop an elegant gold stem set with rose cut diamonds. The flower is a single piece of agate, finished with a matte surface to suggest the texture of a real flower petals. The carver left streaks of a darker colored agate on the back to create the delicately-colored veining that shows through the petals...

A very rare Art Nouveau Mardi Gras ball favor jewel in 14K gold depicting Greek goddess. The exposed areas of gold have a soft "bloomed" finish typical of higher quality Art Nouveau jewels that constrasts beautifully with the translucent enamels. The back is stamped "14K" and is engraved "COMUS 1908."

A well crafted sterling silver brooch by the Chicago silversmith Bjarne Meyer. Beautifully hand hammered silver. Bjarne Meyer later worked for Georg Jensen, USA.

Measures almost 2" across and 1 1/4" high.

Marked Sterling and Handwrought by Bjarne. Has an intricate three dimensional repousse floral design and a central turquoise cabochon.

In fine condition with minor tarnish. Rollover clasp holds securely.

Another Antonio Pineda masterpiece done in black onyx crescents. Very comfortable with 4.5 in. diameter which is approximately 16.5 inches of wearable length. Each crescent is 1.75 inches at the widest point. No damage or repairs. The matching Pineda bracelet is as well listed on my site. It does have a patina that has not been touched and buyer can make it their own. There is 114 grams of stunning design, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Spratling designed this impressive pendant in the 1940's. Measuring 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" the piece is beautifully detailed with 4 beveled cut amethyst stones & a center cab set into thick silver frames. Signed AJ, 925, and Denmark. Hand crafted, you can see the hammer marks on the inside.

An exceptionally fine Pampillonia 18K gold brooch in the form of a running thoroughbred horse mounted by a jockey. The workmanship is simply outstanding. Every detail of the horse's flying tail and the musculature underlying the coat are beautifully worked. The folds and wrinkles of the jockey's silks are equally detailed. The horse's eye is set with a small round ruby and the hoof of a hind leg touches on a .18-carat round brilliant cut diamond, graded as J color, SI2 clarity...

Measures about 7" long and 1" wide. Has an ingenious clasp with a screw that locks in place, very safe.

Marked with script Hans Hansen, Denmark, and 925S. In fine condition with some surface scratches and a little tarnish.

Sleek and well crafted. Great example of Scandinavian modernist design.
